thank you for your help!

It’s SOLD OUT already
https://max.airmiles.ca/products/buy-500-miles-for-15
Well, its all sold out as I was reading the rules.
Basically, $60 for 2000 airmiles or $100 for 2000 air miles, for like 20 people lol. Who made this? Literally 80 eligible passes avaliable, but you can purchase up to 4. Maybe the spouse of 20 Air Miles employees?
AirMiles has very specific requirements when EARNING or REDEEMING Airmiles for Travel categories.
You’ll find them in the T&Cs for each offer
Example … EARN Promo on
Often Airmiles are only given once you stay
And often there are time limits between booking & staying
Physical Card so must be shipped. 950 for $100

I received 2 monthly offers each month from January to October. One during the first week of the month and one during the third.
Last offer I got was in November which was the BMO Pre-Approved Credit Card Offers and products, which wasn't actually a personalized offer.
There have been several ON only promotions which is great for those in ON, but when they are for places like AMSHOPS (Like the NOV DEC 10x promotion) it doesn't make sense to me to only target the ON population.
Upon looking at this closer it IS targeted.
a. Dec 1 - received THIS offer below. Says to Opt in by Dec 15th. I do not remember doing this.
b. Jan 5th - received the 5X Top Up Email. Also below. MORE than a month from the initial offering.
Their 5x promo until the end of March is also quite good. I am not sure if it is YMMV or not.
Example : usually 1 Air Mile per $ 12 spend on BMO WE - NOW 5 Air Miles per $ 12 spend. That is 4.4 % back in Air Miles ( for shopping at Air Miles Partners ) . That is pretty impressive.
Another 2000AM to get Onyx status.
You can opt in from the Email ( which takes you to the Air Miles site and you Opt in ) OR you can just click the heart to activate in the app.
Last year we had two offers that I don't believe were public ( but maybe they were ). The 25 Air miles when you used 95 Air Miles. This year it has been dropped to 10 Air Miles for 95 Air Miles usage. We also had an offer that had the multiplier on ALL days and not just the weekend. That was useful a couple of times.
Looking at possible 40 L purchase of gas on the weekend - IF you can get 40 L in - that is 2 Air Miles. With the 10X multiplier that is 20 Air Miles. Use $ 10 of Air Miles and get 10 more.
There is also a 5X multiplier at AIr Miles partners with BMO - so I think that would be about Air Miles. Using the logic - Gas at $ 1.50 per litre x 40 Litres is $ 60. At $ 12 per Air Mile that is 5 Air Miles . Then multiply by 5 and that is 25 Air Miles from BMO.
So a max of 30 Air Miles direct from Irving and then 25 Air Miles from BMO. So 55 Total.
A bit less in Air Miles than the Shell math- but not awful.
I guess people might have to split transactions if they want to continue.
At least as far as 5 Scans = 25 AMs per week

Not sure about the Onyx Bonuses tho
We'll still pick up the odd AM at Shell but right now the focus is on burning through our balance by taking flights. Malta in February, Scotland in Sept., planning Brunei for early 2024.
I don't actually need the status since I am collecting 100% cash miles.
Megathreads tend to take a bit of time to organize
And us Thread Hosts, we are just as busy as the rest of you all during the Holidays
(Pre Christmas - Christmas - New Years - Family Time - Vacation etc )
So take that into consideration … I think most Hosts try to aim to be up and running with the new threads by mid month
Kind of when life settles back into a normal groove …
Kids back at School
People back at Work etc
Prior to the big Status Change Announcement … that went into effect for 2018
Then it changed to follow the calendar year … ending December 31st
airmiles-announcement-changes-gold-onyx ... g-2150278/
But I don’t know what’s happening these days …
Something I have to admit I’ve not kept an eye on …
As personally we’ve been Onyx without issue for so long
This isn’t unusual …
As there have been soooo many exceptions & extensions made in various Loyalty Programs due to Covid
It’s difficult to keep track
