View allMouse is huge for my small hands...woah, will take some adjusting.
I've always been wanting to get the Mac Space Grey keyboard, because of the just aesthetics. This is just as nice and from the reviews I've read/watched, this is one of the best keyboards available. The selling feature for me is the ability to switch between devices. Given WFH, it's a lot more convenient to press a button to toggle between machines, vs. mess with Bluetooth settings since my existing keyboard can only have one connection at a time.
EDIT: "Sold Out Temporarily" can be backordered
1) The Mac version of this mouse doesnt come with a USB unifying receiver (whereas the Windows one does). I have a unifying receiver for other logitech mouse and keyboards which are used on Windows laptops. Could I have this mouse connected to a USB unifying receiver that I use for my windows devices? Or will it not work?
2) On logitech's website comparing the Mac version to the Windows one, the site says the mac one isnt compatible with Linux or Android. Can this version be used for both?
3) I'd be using this mouse with an M1 mac mini. I've read that the logi app to customize keys requires rosetta 2 to be installed on m1 chip macs because the logi software isn't optimized for m1 yet. For those that have used this for m1 macs, have you needed to install the logi software? Or were you able to get by in assigning the functions as you saw fit? I want to avoid installing legacy software via rosetta and would rather just wait for logitech to optimize its app for m1 chips.
I’m confused
EDIT. Nvm. Auto added at checkout. Picked up one. Thanks
I've been eyeing the MX keys for a while.
I wanted something wireless but also multi-device across platforms and this is one of the few with backlit keys.
Guess I'll also get the MX Master 3 while I'm at it.
The Dell deal is dead. Back up to $129.99
But can anybody explain to me what’s so awesome about the keyboard ?
Dan
I do recall seeing someone was able to get Logitech to ship them a female USB-A to USB-c dongle, apparently if you plug in the receive using that to your dock, it works fine, I went back and forth with customer support for month with no luck of getting that.
Tempted to get the Mac version since it has "improved Bluetooth connectivity"...
