    • got this in the early quarter of the year direct from Lenovo for similar price (perhaps slightly less but dont quite remember) to scratch the curiosity itch. turn out not bad at all.

works great as a bedside alarm/music toy. new to me but it was fun & functional to just voice out to inquire time, weather, music, YT vids & well almost any other functions eg. set the alarm/s to wake up &or reminders. I can even stream/cast to it.

overall, its a luxury for sure but I like it. fun toy

I don't think this has ever gone below $129 except a time with Lenovo that you could stack a deal with a 5% off coupon.,

I paid $123 for mine from Lenovo and it's wicked and you can video chat unlike the $160 Google ones that drop to $99. The extra amount for the camera is well worth it.

    • Worth it over the regular Google home hub @ $99?

You get an extra inch of screen plus a camera... Hmmmm

Got 2 for $117 earlier this year, so it was cheaper before...

Well you sure convinced me otherwise.
If it's for home automation then my impression is that the fire tablets work well enough with Alexa. You can always leave it plugged in and on a stand too.
