Any reason you are getting the Hub MAX, or is it mainly just for the 10" screen? Im wondering if its worth the price difference.

There's also a camera on the Hub Max too.

The nest max has a camera which allows video calls + bigger screen, but I'm not sure the price difference is justified.

    • As a google home mini user, i got one of these Google Nest Hubs for the kitchen and it's been great. Having a screen for kitchen duties has been extremely handy, or just watching a youtube video while cooking is nice.

    • I like google nest hub, but screen is a bit too small for me to enjoy any video. But Max's price is too steep for me. Even at $250 which is I think the lowest price if you don't count US deals

You can typically get the Hub max for $225 when retailers have it on sale for $250. PM Home Depot for the additional 10% off. That is how I have been buying my hub maxes.

I have the hub max and it's good for video calling (uses Google Duo only) and monitoring the inside of your house.

Mine is set up in my kitchen and it can detect familiar faces or movement similar to the Nest doorbell.

    • I don't need two of these. Anyone know how frequently these go on sale individually and what sort of sale pricing I can expect to see?

If you're talking about google nest hub, not the max, then it was $79. lowest I see is $69. And with some coupon and PM tricks, maybe $65-ish.

    • Anyone know if it's possible to reserve online and pick up in store at best buy while maintaining the discount?

Online, it doesn't keep the discount when I try reserving for in store pick up.
