View allI ended up getting a venti vanilla sweet cream cold brew (double cream, half sweet, no ice) at closing time and saved it for this morning since I was fasting yesterday. It was really good, although maybe a little too creamy with the double cream and no ice, but I would definitely get it again.
I failed as an RFDer because I didn't know I could have gotten a trenta size for a better deal. Next time! :P
They usually tend to make things right.
I got the grande size and 50% was foam only half was actual coffee.
I presumed it was like that since I never had it before. I realized my predicament when I finished my half full drink and a lady picked up her order which was 20% foam. I didn't have anything left to show as evidence. Darn it I should have been like my niece and take a picture of every novelty she tries. I usually just go for black coffee. I wonder if any other rfders had similar experience.
Seriously... there's no reason why it shouldn't have had ice. I'm not sure about Starbucks, but Cold Brew is supposed to be more concentrated and is meant to be diluted with ice and/or milk and cream.
I use a french press for cold brew.
Just get a cold brew coffee pot (I have this one: https://www.amazon.ca/Hario-MCPN-14B-Wa ... B001VPXEBU; here is TheWirecutter's choice: https://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best- ... fee-maker/).
Put ground coffee + tap water and leave it overnight. And that's it.
At first I had it with sweetener + cream and now I drink it black or with light splash of milk.
I've been ordering this almost daily for 3 years now $$$. Wish I could pre-order with this discount for future dates.
In past offers, I’ve had to apply the discount.
So it seems like everyone can get this offer.
I tried to order for pick up in APP. It showed the original price, about 6 dollars.
Is it in store only?
Is it only for selected customers?
Also, no one per person limit either. Anyone trying to buy more than 1?
Get the Venti, it’s 10 cents more than the Grande.

She scanned in the code, and it worked.
My co-workers told me you didn't even need the app/code that that half price off frappe day was for everyone. They went to a different starbucks than me that day.
- Iced Coffee = Regular coffee + ice
- Cold Brew = cold water + beans, steeped for a longer period of time (e.g. overnight). This results in a sweeter coffee because the beans are not "cooked" by hot water, resulting in less acidity.
- Nitro Cold Brew = Cold Brew infused with Nitrogen, which gives it a foamy, velvety texture... kinda like a beer.
After that, it's just different flavourings added to the coffee.
I always get black coffee (cold brew, americano), so I’m not a good person for drink recommendations.
Also, which drink do you recommend? The salted cream sounds interesting...
