get this dealStart the year with a phone upgrade from Google, where you'll save up to $200.00 on Pixel 6a and Pixel 7 smartphones in Canada.
- Pixel 6a - $499.00 (regularly $599.00)
- Pixel 7 - Starting at $699.00 (regularly from $799.00)

Originally released in October, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are the latest flagship smartphones from Google, featuring 6.3" and 6.7" OLED displays (respectively), Google's second-generation Tensor G2 processor, up to three rear cameras and Android 13.
Meanwhile, the Pixel 6a is a budget-friendly variant of the previous-generation Pixel 6, with a 6.1" OLED display, Google's custom Tensor processor, dual rear cameras, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and Android 12. The lower price does come with some compromises, as the Pixel 6a does not have wireless charging and the display has a maximum refresh rate of 60Hz.
This offer is effective online until February 15 and all Pixel smartphones qualify for free shipping from Google.

So dumb
I really hope they didn't just lose all the parcels on the 29th. They must have some security footage to check what went wrong...
though for a direct purchase absolutely buy it from somewhere other than the google store
Weird. Got my refund pretty much right away. YMMV
Had to send Pixel 7 Pro back for a warranty issue:
I agreed for them to send me the new Pixel 7 Pro before I sent the old one back, they would put a hold on my credit card for the full amount of the phone and remove the credit card hold when the received the old one;
Phone was sent by UPS on December 28th and received at the Mississauga warehouse by Adrian on December 29th (I have the UPS Tracking Information)
On January 12th they sent me an email saying they had not received the phone and charged my credit card;
Contacted them on January 13th by telephone, the agent responded to me by email stating "I have escalated your case to our product specialists. We’ll follow up with you in the next 1-2 business days, In the meantime, reply to this email if you have information to add or if you need further assistance"
It has now been 5 business days;
after not receiving a response within 2 days I called them back to inquire and they said there was nothing they could do as the matter is being investigated and advised me to respond to the email from the original agent
which I have done twice with no response, they would not allow me to speak to a supervisor.
What a nightmare, I think it is time to get Pat Foran involved.
That's why I really wish and want Google to step-it-up with the Pixels...I'm sick of the prices that Apple and Samsung are charging, and feels like there is no good alternative.
Even now, as we speak, as much as a terrible experience I've had with the Pixel lineup, I'm still a little tempted to try again with the 7 Pro, just because I'm desperate for a decent phone that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
-Buy it from Bestbuy: https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/go ... d/16494355
-Or make a new Google account, then buy it using that. Use that Google account for Google Store purchases in the future.
Probably go with option 1, its more practical and Bestbuy seems to be a Google authorized seller.
Edit: Also consider Amazon:

(of course, check to verify you are buying the "Ships from and sold by Amazon.ca." version).
BB & Amazon have the same price.
I just looked at my Android version ..I'm on Android 12 and security update Aug 5 2022
Cutting a plastic card with a pair of scissors is hard work?
As for your other methods, the only dental picks I have taper too quickly to get deep enough, vacuum/compressed air will only clear loose stuff (once it's compacted in there, it needs to be scraped), and metal in a connector is a no-no

Why reinvent the wheel?
Heck, I'd even give it a shot with a sim card tool or the crevice tool on a vacuum cleaner.
I never experienced screen tearing on my end.
Also, +1 for Pixels. Have gone from Nexus 5 to pixel 2xl to pixel 7 and have had great experiences. Only gripe is that they didn't support older pixels for as long as Apple, but hopefully that changes with tensor chips. Then again, my newly released pixel 7 cost less than half of what an iPhone 13 was going for, so still great value.
Oneplus dropped the ball hard for software updates on the 7t.
If you want a faster processor, smaller phone and a better camera the 6a is better
If it is MIA, one would think they could blacklist it.
They fixed the scrolling issues with the December patch and it's pretty much smooth sailing for me now. No issues with the fingerprint scanner.
Installed a Whitedome tempered glass and you can't even tell that it's there.
I've had issues charging it with my Anker charger + cable. I heard it's due to the cable, but I've moved on to wireless charging on a Pixel Stand 2 so I don't know if they had fixed this issue yet or not.
That's what they are doing to me, they aren't responding to ups, won't send it back, wont even do a warehouse scan. Just telling me to send the correct device.
So either I accept the hit and eat the price of the phone or do a chargeback and lose my google account
