    • Thanks for posting the deal OP. I will wait for my carrier to discount the phone. The price of the second one is not that bad. If only I can get someone to partner with me on the purchase and pay full price for the first one.

Save $500 when you buy Pixel 3 and Pixel 3.
Save $450 when you buy two Pixel 3 phones.
      Which one is it? 😱

    • I hate how Google is discounting the Pixels, but the carried subsidizes models still reflect full price. I'm not signing a 2 year contract to get 100$ off.

God damnit Google really ****ed up with these original prices..

Hard to beat Huawei employees working from 9am to 9pm 7 days week.

Apple should do fine as it has a unique iOS. Samsung and Huawei both uses Android and they are full of bloatware that couldn’t be deleted. Some apps on Android were made specifically to collect data, and they are hidden from the app drawer. I hope Apple don’t go down that path.

Google and FB argues that they wanted to come up with an affordable way for us to use their services. Their solution is to charge us nothing, but we will let them have access to to our data. Ironically, we are now paying top dollars for Google products, and yet they still collect data from us.
That is why Apple said that they can easily make a lot more money if they start to collect and sell our data.

4gb of RAM is not enough. It doesn't keep apps in the memory for a long time and apps are fully reloaded more often than with other devices that have more RAM. I find it very annoying.

Even Google thinks 4gb of RAM isn't enough as the Pixel Lite is supposed to have 6gb of RAM.

The speakers on the XL buzz when playing videos or music. It's somewhat fixable with an EQ app but for a 1k+ phone it's unacceptable.

The giant notch. My cousin got the same one as me and he had to RMA his because it kept corrupting videos that he would take. I never experienced this issue with mine though.

Camera is great and it's my favourite part of the phone but I don't use it enough to offset the other stuff.

Agree, that is why I switched to an iPhone after using Android for 10+ years. The transition experience was hard and I miss some features on Android. But I think I will settle on an iPhone after a month.

Sorry the confusion. I discovered its for Quebec only. You can see it if you set upper tab to Quebec.

Yes. If you are in Quebec. Sign out of account and change tab to Que.

    • I can't recommend a Pixel 3 either - do yourself a favour and pick up something else.

I got one back during the Black Friday week and had to return it; there's a major issue with the call quality/reception where you as the Pixel 3 user can hear the other person just fine, but the person on the other end hears you cutting out intermittently, to the point where all of my phone calls ended with the other person going "Hello? Hello?". In addition, there were times where, when dialing someone, it would take 15-20 seconds for the call to connect and start ringing. The speakers also buzz and crackle during calls.

There are threads highlighting this on the Google Pixel 3 forums, and the Koodo forums (my carrier). Google themselves have had zero response to this, and a lot of people who were outside the return window are stuck with a phone that doesn't perform its core function.

I did the same before Christmas. Got an iPhone XS Max. Not overly thrilled with iOS experience as my primary communication device.

Thinking very seriously about going back to Android and picking up a OnePlus 6T until the next gen (high-end) Pixel arrives and I'll re-evaluate.

IMO oneplus is the best compromise. Great price, great OS speed and not bloated. Camera is far from pixel territory but it is definitely decent. I have a Pixel 2 and my next phone will likly be oneplus 7

my wife's OP5 is faster than my pixel 2, come one...

Not to mention it's easy to take it back to apple store for servicing like battery replacements. Although, Samsung is getting better at this with their own stores now.

Does anyone know if you can still upload non-pixel pictures at original quality to google photos (for pixel owners)?

You can upload photos to Google Photos from any device at original quality but it counts towards your Google Drive storage quota.
