View allIt was $750 discounted a month ago and even then, people weren't knocking the door down to get it. The specs of the phone pale in comparison to the competition. I ended up returning it as I was lucky enough to get the Samsung Note 9 for around $850 and it crushes this phone in almost every realm.
The Best options is buy the phone at full price directly from the constructor. I do it since many years.

Anyways, Google says they fixed this in December 2018, but some users wonder if 6GB would've just been a better buffer to have so these types of optimization issues wouldn't occur. I think about how much RAM Chrome can use on my Desktop and shudder to think how the whole Google designed Android OS uses memory...

Even though the price is right I would consider this deal to be warm given that the phone only has 4GB of ram. While I really enjoy the pure Android experience and full Google Assistant capabilities, the complaints regarding performance issues scare me for a phone that is only 6 months old.
