    • Just picked up a road trip at the Mississauga location for $140 they still have about 7 boxes left on the floor various colors not to sure what they have in the back. Store not busy at all.
      Just ordered mine online. Despite saying free shipping over $99 it seems there might be a bug on the site as they automatically changed my shipping to $9.95 fedex shipping right before I hit submit order. I'm emailing them but i'm kinda annoyed.

    • Can anyone comment on the stability of the cheaper Benro tripod? Is it worthwhile as a starter tripod?

      I'm sure the C2282 is better but I don't like my chances of spending almost 500 beans on it and getting it past the misses.
      Also looking for feedback on this. I'm also weighing this against the mefoto tripod. Hoping the cheaper benpro is decent.

    • Aden has the Sigma 18-35 for $799 vs Vistek's $829. Went to buy it at Henry's today but they didn't have a display model and they wouldn't open a box for me to see it. Do people really drop thousands at these stores without even holding it in there hand first?
      That's really weird. With pretty much all my lens purchases at Henry's, I typically check the lens first to make sure it's a good copy before paying for it. Might be the location you went to.

      The Vistek sale is for five days, not just Boxing Day (the day most stores will not PM on), so you can try and PM another retailer from Dec 27th onwards. Good luck!

    • FYI, the newer manufactured D750 flare issue has been fixed. I recently purchase a D750 with no flare issue.

      Also, check out Golden Electronics D750 body $2099, w/Kit lense $2730. This is the lowest price I have seen anywhere in Toronto. Too bad Henrys wouldn't PM Golden Electronics.

      Nice to see the D810 and the D750 both for solid discounts compared to any recent Canadian pricing that I have seen. The D750 has seem untouchable in terms of getting marked down since it was released, so seeing it at $2199 in a printed flyer is good news (even if at least one Toronto camera retailer was hitting that price or lower in recent weeks on that model). Note to mods: you may want to add the D750 into the listing in the first post - many are interested in that model.

      I have the Mefoto Roadtrip tripod and really appreciate how light and easy to use it is. I bought it in the US for $189 US earlier this year and was happy with that price, so to get it for $139 CDN is great IMO.

      I think that's the best price I've seen on the Nikon SB-910 flash as well. I got it from Vistek for $449 on their ProFusion event and that was a decent price then.

      Good to see at least one retailer not asleep at the wheel this Boxing Day! :)
