Stream your favourite holiday tunes with Spotify, because new members can get three months of Spotify Premium for free!

This free offer is only available to new Spotify Premium users, while returning users without an active subscription may see an offer for three months for $9.99. A Spotify Premium subscription unlocks perks including ad-free playback, offline downloads and unlimited skips -- for reference, an individual Spotify Premium membership is regularly $9.99 per month, which means you'll save up to $29.97 with this offer!

There are some restrictions, as users who have previously tried Spotify Premium and residents of Quebec are excluded from this offer.

This offer is effective for a limited time and there's a limit of one three-month trial per account. Once the three-month period is over, you will be charged the standard rate of $9.99 per month, so remember to disable auto-renewal if you don't plan on keeping the service.

    • Great opportunity to use it with the Ampli Butter offer spend at least $5 on select subscriptions which includes Spotify and get $10. Should also stack with the Ampli Streaming offer spend and get 10% Cashback up to $1

    • This is pretty unclear. The first post and the link it goes to both say "3 months free", but the thread title says $9.99.

Also note that the lengthy promo link says "Winback", but the offer itself says "only customers who have not previously tried Premium". So they're winning back ... who, exactly?

I also got a link by email that says 3 months for $9.99, and the text in the email says:
"Offer not available to users who canceled Premium after October 17, 2020 or to users in Quebec. Offer ends December 31, 2020."
So that one is available to previous Premium subscribers.

Deezer is offering 3 months free too. Hmmm... decisions, decisions...

Hmmm. Spotify family plans cost a $15 subscription fee per month. They are offering you service for a one-time "lifetime" fee of $4.50 via a cut of a family plan? Sounds great! Nothing wrong with the math there.

Mind if I ask which prepaid visa you used that worked on their site?

    • The website is very slow or unresponsive when filling out the CC information. Its as though you can't click on the form (Firefox)

Edit: Also unresponsive on Chrome. When filling out the CC information. Anyone else having the same problem?

Edit 2: Worked like a charm on Edge. Must be some settings with my FF and Chrome. Tried signing up using my PayPal account and it got flagged. Then used my Koho card and worked like a charm!

    • Youtube music has a LYRICS tab on the songs which is really nice....I can actually sing the actual word and not something I think they're saying LOL.

Spotify should add out this feature soon or they're going to be losing subscribers IMO.

Spotify premium family is $15/mo [music only for 6 in household] vs YT Premium family is $18/mo [music and vids for 5 in household]

Yes, you can cancel right away and you'll still have premium for 3 months. Cancelling only means you won't be charged $9.99/month once the first 3 months are done.

      Edit: typo

I just created a thread summary. Essentially, brand new Spotify accounts get 3 months free (https://www.spotify.com/purchase/offer/ ... 0-trial-3m) and existing Spotify accounts can get 3 months for $9.99 (https://www.spotify.com/ca-en/premium/? ... back_wave1) if they didn't cancel Spotify Premium after October 17th.
