Don't say "thank u, next" to this deal from Spotify, because new users can get three months of premium for just $0.99!

This $0.99 offer is only available to those who have never used Spotify Premium, but users who have cancelled a Premium subscription before October 16, 2018 are eligible for a three-month subscription for $9.99 instead.

A premium subscription to Spotify is regularly $9.99 per month and both offers a great value for music lovers, especially for new users who want to try the popular music streaming service. A premium subscription enables ad-free playback, offline downloads and unlimited skips.

Once the three month period is over, you will be charged the regular rate of $9.99 per month, so remember to cancel before then if you don't plan on keeping the service.

This offer is available until December 31 and users in Quebec are not eligible.

This might be useful to you and others. I have yet to try this out.

That's someone buying family plan and selling out the family member slots as premium.
      That's not allowed by Spotify's T&C I believe.
There are already other RFD threads that deals with these account "sharing".

the person can still get their own personal account like it is advertised even when on family plan?

    • Creating new spotify accounts doesnt work anymore to get the 0.99$ deal.
You need to use a different credit card.

    • I signed up 3 months for 0.99

    • thanks, signed up for 3 months.

    • Just reporting back, $9.99 = 3 months Premium = 2 months Family Premium.
I signed up for the 3 months, and got the next bill date as 3 months later @ $9.99.
Then I upgrade to family, and the bill date changed to 2 months later @ $14.99.

      Hope that makes sense.

It's clear on the link that is not valid for whoever cancelled after a specific date in October

This is what was stated "but users who have cancelled a Premium subscription after October 16, 2018 are eligible for a three-month subscription for $9.99 instead." Might have to wait to see tomorrow.

Nope. That's the stament on the link:

"Offer not available to users who canceled Premium after 16-Oct-2018 or to users in Quebec"
