Emails still went into original email.
If I cancel it right away, will my 3 month 0.99 still there for 3 months? thanks.
E: Also holy shit that bickering, I don't really want to pick sides but is someone seriously advocating getting a new ****ing debit card from the bank every 3 months
No restrictions after the account is setup.
I was a premium member since 2 months ago with the google home mini (free with premium sign up).
I signed up using the dot trick with the email
used different CC than previous.
I also used the trick of finding my previous account and following all the playlists so I dont have to redo it all over again.
saved me $29 over the next 3 months (minus 10 days overlap)
Thank you!
(I tried something similar with Apple Music trial, and after I started playing on the second device, the first device will get interrupted. I have to upgrade to more expensive "family plan" for it to work (even when using same Apple ID). But then I seem to remember that it worked with Google Play Music without needing "family plan". Maybe I remember wrong ...)
The old account must still exist and make sure copy and past "the long user name" without mistake, no space after or before.

Just some tips and tricks
The family plan is only 34/12 = $2.83 a month actually, I'll probably end up paying it later on down the line.
Going to be honest with you, I really only ever listen to music on the treadmill and in the car while driving via bluetooth. Premium Spotify isn't really THAT big of a priority for me because I'm not really a music junkie. Like I said, I'm just passively searching for a family deal and it's not really a big concern for me as of this moment. I would have gladly paid 0.99/3 months here because that's so cheap but too bad I used the free trial very recently.
I would never pay $10 a month for Premium Spotify, just not worth it for me.
I would pay $2.83 though because that's also cheap. Not as cheap as 0.99/3 months but 0.99/3 months isn't sustainable because you can only do it once in an account.
Anyways, let's just drop this!
As for myself, I'll be looking elsewhere because I already used the 30 day trial. If I didn't, I would have paid for this. I haven't been using Spotify until recently. Atm I'm actually using free Spotify and content with it. I'm passively looking for a family plan and if it happens it happens if it doesn't it doesn't.
You randomly came looking for trouble actually tbh lol when I suggested that I already used my cc and making another account was out of the question. You suggested that I was wiping my ass with duvets or whatever and entitled. Why did you choose to do that?
All I ever said in the start was I already used my free trial and you felt the need to interject yourself and insult. I just felt it was out of line. Nothing against you tbh.
What you suggested is highly questionable to me. I wouldn't do it because its exploitative. It's something that can get your account flagged eventually by the bank and I wouldn't risk that to save such little money. It's like thirty dollars a year.
You found something that works for you, I can't do it myself because it's not something that I would feel comfortable doing.
If you previously had a spotify preminium account(or free account) and you had a playlist or song in your library,
you can share it with your new 3 months 99 cents account.
- just logging in your new 3 months account, and put in the search bar spotify:user:friendsusername
(of your first spotify account)
exemple: spotify:user:4gxxxrrryyyfffiijjjooo011(you can find your long user # in your spotify account after logging in your Web broswer),
then you'll see your old account playlist or song, click follow..
Just a tip
I'm fully aware of what fraud is and I said bordering and in the gray area. The fact that you keep needing to lie and get a different card definitely fits the bill. It's not serious in your case of course so no cop is going to show up at your door.
2. Yes you are, I never once said it wasn't 9.99 if you pay monthly solo, but I did bring up family Spotify so you would be saving very little comparatively.
By the way I wasn't incorrect when I said spotify was $10/month. If you take this promo (3 months for 99 cents) it clearly states after the 3 months you get charged $9.99/month. Anyone jumping on this promo and continues service after the third month they will be billed $10.
You can do as you please, I'm just pointing out the ridiculousness of it. That's all.
It's a ridiculous suggestion to say the very least
And where did you get the idea that I wanted to use my cc on multiple accounts? I was addressing the other individual who asked about it.
Got a great deal on internet bickering entertainment.
OrangeBerry vs MobyZz. Fight of the Century.
And I didn't even pay a single penny for it.
First time I tried the +spotify idea and it worked like a charm.
You have the patience and the time to do it, I don't nor would I even if I had the time.
I doubt you'll find anyone else who would do what you're doing with the banks.
Not to mention having to transfer over playlists, relogin with Google home at my household, make a different account etc etc.
I'm trying to be civil here, what you consider is a waste of time is for me getting the services for free. I don't have to pay a penny (literally) or even $5 every again. I get unlimited months of free Spotify for absolutely free. I also get Youtube premium for free which is worth another pretty dime. Fair to say I am saving over $100 over a year. With you, you are getting one month free out of the 12, the remaining 11 months require you pay of some sort regardless of the denomination it's going to cost you.
So now, even if it means saving $5/month, I think it's worth entering my bank once a month (which I do anyways) and getting a new card to save $100+ per year. Silly? depends how much it's worth saving, and yes It's definitely worth the money. Like I said, unless you have another credit card I don't see how you plan on getting it for free because, and I quote you;
"Oh and Ive never ever paid one penny to Spotify."
Good, let's see how you plan on working up to a free Spotify for next month.
Going to your bank and replacing your bank card monthly to save two dollars and fifty cents. Good stuff! I wish I had the patience and time for something like that.
I'd rather pony up thirty bucks a year . That's just me and most others though.
Quebec keep out!
fine print: Quebec residents are, as usual, not entitled to any special treatments because they already have obvious advantages in terms of intelligence, good taste, and beauty.
I really don't understand why this is so hard to understand. No one besides you brought up a visa debit, I used an mc.
No one mentioned anything about another free trial?
Like I said ... Stupid...
You claim you never paid a penny...yah you didn't pay a penny for your first attempt at your first free trial, LOL. How else you expect to get another free trial without providing a CC number?? You cannot! That's my point!
