    • Best deal for Spotify Premium is the Family plan if you have 4 other 'family members' to share it with - works out to be $36/yr each for 5 users, all with their own separate accounts/logins, playlists, offline devices, etc. Thought I'd mention it here for any not aware of it.

    • The "Quebec not eligible" puzzles me.

      It's not a contest nor a lottery.

      Spotify is available in French.

      Now what?

Not exactly lol Quebec has consumer protection laws that prohibit businesses from offering trials for free or at a discounted rate then auto renewing at a higher rate. There are ways to structure promos to get around this but Spotify is either unknowing or unwilling.

100% shared family plan is the best deal, also if you are a student, there is student discount running all year round.

For other folks like myself from the anti social club, this $20 off maybe a good alternative.

Am I able to sign up for a family plan when I'm a student to get it for even cheaper or?

Are there any limitations when enrolling each user (i.e. name, address, etc.)?
What is stopping people from starting up a group buy for this?

Nothing, unless they've changed the rules recently. When family plan was introduced dozens of us on here started "family" plans to share. I'm up for another "family" if someone is going to start one

Each user needs to confirm the home address of the main account holder.
Go to the group buy section of these forums. There is a thread or two of Spotify group buys. That's where I got on a family plan

Last I heard, group buy Family Plans for Google Music or Apple Music aren't really possible because the credit card is shared for all Google accounts on the family plan - do you trust RFDers that much? ;)
