Just watched Fruitvale - wow! I refreshed a few times as it was just spinning for a long time (like ~7 mins) - once it started, it ran smoothly. If you have probs loading, just refresh and hit the play/pause and then it will show. What I'm trying to say is, it seems like it has to fully download before it starts playing, unlike say, Disney+. GL!
cheers,
For the record I watched in on a ROKU tv through the app and the quality was good.
Was having trouble adding that one into my library for some reason, and see that I now need to pay if I want to rent it.
I had already rented it previously, was using the built-in Samsung TV Cineplex app, and was logged in to my Cineplex account.

Watched Rae and Ali so far. Both flawless playback on TCL TV w/built-in Roku. TV is hardwired for Internet
Glad that Cineplex is doing their part to support the movement. Wish I could give them more than that but their streaming platform is lacking.
Props to the OP for sharing though. Don't think I would've found out otherwise.
Nice try Cineplex, but unfortunately a fail.
