this offer is expired

Listen to some new favourites for 2021 with Amazon Music Unlimited, because you can get a three-month subscription for free!

This offer is only available to new Amazon Music Unlimited users -- the music streaming service is not the same as Prime Music, as Amazon Music Unlimited is a separate service with over 70 million songs, including new releases and curated playlists that are unavailable with Prime Music.

For reference, Amazon Music Unlimited subscriptions are regularly $9.99 per month ($7.99 for Prime members), which means you'll save upwards of $29.97!

This offer is available online for a limited time. Note that after the three-month period is over, you will be charged the standard monthly rate, but you can cancel auto-renewal if you do not plan to keep the service.

Not an Amazon Prime member? Sign up for a free 30-day trial and read our guide to see what it has to offer in Canada.

Tight integration with Amazon device family
HD and Ultra HD audio quality tiers

Wonder if they have Audible books included?

      FYI

Prime music and music unlimited is not the same.
Regardless of either, I don’t like either, there app is garbage, search sucks and still missing a lot of music compared to apple music and some others.

    • I assumed this will auto renew after 3 months unless you call to cancel.

No need to call, just cancel from account settings. Can be cancelled right away if you want and it'll just end at the 3 month mark.

    • I tried Tidal, Apple Music, Youtube Music, and Amazon Music HD.

I am no audiophile, but I found that Amazon's quality is much better than Apple and Youtube. And slightly better than Tidal.

IMO: Amazon > Tidal > Apple Music > Youtube Music in terms of audio quality

With that said, I am also a Youtube Premium subscriber, and I don't think it is worth the extra cost to get Amazon music, since Youtube music is included in Premium.

No, it has a pretty full selection of music of all types, just like all the main competitors: Spotify, Apple Music, Google/Youtube Music, Deezer, and Tidal. You may find individual selections missing occasionally on one service or the other, but it's rare these days.

You might be thinking of Amazon Prime Music, which offers a very limited selection of music for Amazon Prime subscribers at no extra cost. That's not Amazon Music Unlimited. If you only have Amazon Prime Music, you can always try the 1-minute-in-the-future music alarm trick to hear any selection from Amazon Music Unlimited (https://www.cnet.com/how-to/try-this-aw ... -yourself/)

If you want the highest streaming quality, there's an extra-cost tier called Amazon Music HQ, also often included in the free promos if you sidestep the link to basic Amazon Music Unlimited and search out the HQ link instead.

The main advantage of Amazon Music Unlimited is that it integrates well with your Amazon Echo devices.

      The main disadvantage are:

      - It is tied to your Amazon account rather than being independent and portable like Spotify, Deezer, and Tidal (and Apple to some extent).

      - You can't use it as the music service on any Google Assistant devices due to the bitter rivalry between Google and Amazon (vice-versa for Google/Youtube music on Amazon devices)

Getting hooked for life on yet another amazon product. I am kicking myself for not setting a reminder for deleting amazon after it was not free anymore when I graduated. Ten years later I am screwed, no going back
