this offer is expired

Stream 120 days of non-stop Taylor Swift at Amazon.ca, because you can get four months of Amazon Music Unlimited for just $0.99!

This four-month deal matches the offer from Prime Day 2019, but you do not need a Prime membership to access this deal -- for reference, one month of Amazon Music Unlimited is regularly $9.99 ($7.99 for Prime members), which means you'll save up to $38.96 with this deal!

Originally launched in September 2018, Amazon Music Unlimited is not the same as Prime Music -- Amazon Music Unlimited is a standalone streaming service that unlocks millions of additional songs and curated playlists that are unavailable with Prime Music.

This offer is available until January 6, 2020, so get started now to see if the service is right for you! After your four-month subscription is over, you'll be charged the standard monthly rate, but you can cancel auto-renewal via your account settings immediately after signing up to avoid the automatic charge.

Not an Amazon Prime member? Sign up for a free 30-day trial and read our guide to see what it has to offer in Canada.

    • With Amazon.com US giving out free Echo Dots for subscribers recently, I would say this is a good one to try out for $1.

    • IMO, if you're going to pay for one music service, just go with YouTube Premium.

You get adfree content (especially on mobile/app + TV) and you get youtube music which only feels strange because I prefer spotify. But, if i were to choose one, it would be Youtube Premium as you get the most value. I still keep my spotify subscription becaues it's only $3/month on a family plan, but i've gotten used to youtube music, so i'm using that more now. I just use spotify for my friends shared playlists.

    • Thanks OP! Might give it a try...

FWIW, this is from the Terms and Conditions:
" If you are a resident of Quebec (determined by billing address at signup), this offer is for an initial 4-month subscription that does not renew automatically, for $0.99 + any taxes; if you choose to renew, you will be charged $9.99 ($7.99 for Prime members) per month + any taxes after the initial offer."

How is the music selection there now. When I tried it a year back it was horrible, nothign compared to spotify/apple music, Google Play Music

Recent reviews say that they all claim similar catalogs now, 30-50 million tracks depending on which source you believe. But there is still some artist/track exclusivity.

Most reviews now are considering device compatibility (Amazon not so good), or how well the curated lists fit your taste (personally I dislike Spotify and prefer Deezer, haven't tried Amazon).

You also cannot play Amazon Music through the Sonos app natively. You can start a stream from your Amazon app to your Sonos speakers but not from the Sonos app.
      https://en.community.sonos.com/music-se ... da-6820402
That's crazy! I was already figuring that I would have to jump through some hoops to use this with my Sonos speakers, but I didn't realize that Sonos still doesn't support Amazon Music in Canada (ok for a U.S. Amazon account though, and the same offer of 4 months for US$0.99 is available there, if you have a U.S. credit card to sign up).

Having had my Sonos speakers for a year now, I have to say that I like the sound, but I'm extremely unimpressed by their limited capabilities and the very poor support that never seems to address user complaints. Bugs and service limitations seem to go unaddressed for years with users complaining constantly in the forums. And the obstinate way Sonos will only allow the use of paid versions of a limited subset of music services is pretty annoying.

Assuming it's the same as the free three month trial Amazon just gave me, you can cancel right away.

Not so, I just canceled Spotify Premium, and my Premium subscription is still good for another week.

I think google play music and youtube music is the same thing actually. The selection from what i've been listening to is quite good. I haven't run into issues with not finding songs. Though, I only listen to: Top 40, hip hop, rap, EDM

    • Man there's so many promos for music, I have never had to subscribe at regular price.

And when there are no promos, you can use discounted appstore gift cards to pay for apple music.
