this offer is expired

Watch your favourite movies and stream your favourite songs with this deal from Amazon.ca, where you'll get six months of Disney+ for free when you subscribe to Amazon Music Unlimited – a value of $71.94.

This bonus is available to new or existing Amazon Music Unlimited users – new Amazon Music Unlimited users will receive the maximum of six months of Disney+ for free, while existing and former users will get three months for free.

Amazon Music Unlimited is a music streaming service with a library of over 60 million songs, including new releases and curated playlists. The service is regularly $7.99 per month for Amazon Prime members or $9.99 per month for non-members.

Disney+ is a video streaming service and the exclusive streaming home of popular franchises including Star Wars and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with must-watch Originals like The Mandalorian, Hawkeye and the upcoming The Book of Boba Fett. The service is regularly $11.99 per month and does not offer free trials.

NOTE: you must maintain an active Amazon Music Unlimited subscription throughout the duration of your Disney+ subscription to get it for free – the previous cancellation loophole has been fixed and no longer works. However, the $7.99 or $9.99 monthly price for Amazon Music Unlimited is cheaper than the $11.99 monthly price for Disney+, which means you'll come out ahead even if you don't use Amazon Music Unlimited.

This offer is available online for a limited time. Once your free Disney+ subscription is over, you will be charged the standard monthly rate, but you can cancel your membership at any time if you do not want to keep the service.

    • I mean okay don't read the fine print, but is it not common sense that Disney and Amazon would try and minimize people trying to game the system with this deal? No need to get worked up, they are perfectly in the right here to stop people trying to slime their way into 6 months of a service for free...

But some nice Tuesday reading would be to look up the definition of a scam.
Agreed, this wasn't a scam at all, just some marketing, people didn't read the first fine print but also when they cancelled their amazon music there was a warning that said that it would end their disney+ too, so fool me twice, and also I would dare to say that the scam falls on the people here that cancelled their amazon music immediately to get back their money and tried to keep 6 months of disney+ for free, and at least they got 1 month for free.

    • Thanks for your valuable input, big guy. If the tip wasn't useful to you, you can just move forward. I'm pretty sure it helped other people who, like me, couldn't read the fine prints like you did.

    • Dude initially it was posted that if you subscribe to Amazon music, you will get free disney+ upto 6 months.
Later, other rfders speculated that if we cancel, we might get 6 months of free Disney+ without having amazon music.
You are on RFD. Its a community where a normal deal can become hot with the help of other RFDers. And that sometimes it can fail as well. It was a completely logical reason why once you start disney+ it should be there for 6 months, read thread for complete picture.
And people were okay to give it a try.
Dude, I know all of this. It's RFD, I'm trying to help people in saving them time and money. Just don't try it if you're going to cancel+get 6 free months. Doesn't work.

Where did your post come from?

Checked my OLED downstairs and seems like my 6 months free was cut short because I cancelled Amazon Music 😥

      Oh well…

    • I called Amazon when my Disney + was cancelled before the month was up. I asked them what happened and they weren't sure. They asked if I cancelled Music and I told them I did but just so I didn't get charged the full price again as in a few days Aug 1st I was cutting cable and was adding Prime. I wanted to get the lower price of the Music Unlimited. They had sent me an e-mail the night before saying I wasn't subscribed to Music anymore (so I told them I was worried they were going to cut my Disney + account so I reinstated it by clicking on the link in the e-mail). Amazon talked to Disney and they said there was nothing they could do for me. I was no longer eligible for the promotion.

I tried again using the chat, not phone this time. I explained that Disney + was cancelled and when I contacted Amazon they were unable to do anything from their end to reinstate it. I then told them to cancel the music as I was not willing to pay that much for music. The Disney + agent gave me 30 days free.

    • I connected with the chat and the agent was helpful and enabled me with 30 days of access.

    • Just wanted to add that you can ask them numerous times, they don't keep any log. I received my free 30 days trials on the third attempt ;) (ofc, leave if you see the same CSR name)

I will sub again to Amazon music for a month and see if I can get the remaining 4 months of Disney+

    • Chatted with Disney today but only got 7 days free. They said to contact Amazon and said they can't help so had to ask for free service.

Will see with Amazon if I can reinstate Music to keep Disney or if that a lost cause. Did anyone try already?

    • open a disney+ chat, the agent straight away asked about cancelling amazon music, and said that the both goes hand in had, if you cancel one, the other will be cancelled automatically,

"That is correct, the promo was from Amazon Music. There has been a high volume of redemptions and immediate cancellations for the Amazon Music promotion. If a customer cancels their Amazon Music subscription, they are then no longer eligible for the Disney+ promotion and their Disney+ subscription will be revoked. But since you did not cancel your Amazon Music subscription, your promo should not be cancelled as well. Please contact Amazon Music support so they can help you check your eligibility and they will be the ones who will give you another promo code so you can get your free Disney+ back."
