    • So reedeming 50k points (=$50) gets you $65 off?
I.e. I buy something for $70, reedem 50k points and only approx. $5?

Same goes for the other levels? If true that's a huge savings.

Maybe I just don't know what the word reedem means....

It means you use your 50k points to get $65 discount.
If you buy $70, youll end up paying 70*1.13-65 = $14.1 (assuming 13% tax)

    • OP, I assume you have early access to the flyer? What is there good to buy? If it is actually 200k points to get $300, then that is percentage wise equal to 300k points for $450 in the past and a good deal.

    • This is not too bad of a deal. I already redeemed most of my points when they had the 40% back in points deal (got a PS4 Pro, so I got 200K points back after redeeming 500K). Old Post here.

    • Check your account. I have 2 promos available for Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th. Get 25% back in points when redeeming over 50000 points. And the other one 20× points over $50 spend.

Redeem 50k points get $65 off
      Redeem 100k get $140 off
      Redeem 200k get $300 off

      January 18th till 20th
Sorry, a bit confused. Does this mean:

      1. Redeem 50k points get $65 off (instead of $50?)
      2. Redeem 100k get $140 off (instead of $100?)
      3. Redeem 200k get $300 off (instead of $200?)

      If so, then:

      1. 30% redemption bonus
      2. 40% redemption bonus
      3. 50% redemption bonus

I just want to make sure I understand this correctly. 50% redemption bonus would be a record high, no? I thought 40% was the precious high and very hard to come by.

Also, is this a one purchase deal, or all day?

      Can anyone confirm?

If what the op is saying is correct then yes redeem 200k points and get $300 worth of product. Would be the best value I think.

Generally it's an all day event so you should be able to go more than once if you have that amount of points. Glad I saved a bunch for this event.

    • FYI, the whole ON flyer was posted to a competitor site Sunday evening. (hint: The site with a name similar to Vancouver's hockey team...? The mods tend to edit my posts when I drop heavier hints. But, yes, the OP has posted the correct redemption levels).

edited to add: People, do NOT repost pics from other sites!

      1. It's rude. Unless you asked the OP of the pic and they okayed it. In which case, they might actually give you a copy of it without watermarks.
      2. RFD MODERATORS WILL DELETE COMPETITOR IMAGES. (Especially when there's a WATERMARK with the competitor site all over the pic.) Just saying.

I'd like to know too. I believe max is 500k redemption points per transaction (?) Please correct me if I am wrong.

In this scenario, which points balance counts towards the max? Ie. 200k redeem for 300k. I'm assuming this would count as redeeming 300k of the 500k max.

i don't see why not. would have to be 2 transactions though and you'd have to pay tax on the $300

It depends how you look at it. The best way to get $450 worth of stuff at SDM was the 40% points rebate offer from before Christmas. At that time, you would spend 450K points but get 180K points rebated, for a net expense of 270K points.
Here, that same $450 of stuff costs you 300K points straight up. So, not quite the highest redemption level, but better if you don't have the 450K points upfront.
Bottom line, both are a great use of your points, provided you can spend that much at SDM.

They'd have to be separate transactions. In the past you could redeem as many points as you want it's just the first 200k that would get you a bonus. The next 200k would be redeemed at regular value
