Used it on Friday. Works great. I have really simple hair to cut -- would be in and out in less than 15 minutes when I paid a pro. I'm pretty adept with both hands so that helps.
Only concern is it is a bit bulky and if it or your hand gets a little damp, it could easily get dropped and it's pretty hefty so I doubt it survives even one drop on the bathroom tiles or into the sink. May try to jerry rig some kind of handle strap to be safe.
Happy with the purchase. Thanks OP.
Ordered that same Wahl oil from amazon, seem to be cheaper than most places selling it. I also ordered a tube of lithium grease (from CT) which is nice to have to apply from time to time to the inner cutter assembly, as the stuff they put on initially from the factory dries up after a while especially if you clean the back of the cutters regularly.
I charged it over night and in the morning i saw it was flashing rapidly.
I just unplugged and re-plugged it back to start charging it again for a couple hours. The light flashes when charging (but not rapidly though)
Everything looks fine after the (second) charging. I haven't used it though...
Anyone experience the same?

I recommend:
-wash/blow dry your hair first
-go 4, 3, 2, 1 then ear
you don't need this but i highly recommend getting someone to help you with the back afterward.
This is probably the best purchase so far this year. Thanks OP!
I've used mine now about 3 times. Its ergonomics definitely take time getting used to but I'm starting to see decent results, this might be a keeper.
Also because i didn't have a blow dryer it was hard to do a good job. Having a blow dryer would make cleanup much more.
If your doing a simple buzz cuz this is ok. But if you want to do a nice fade it will be pretty hard.
You can save money in long run but I'd rather go to barber than do this myself and cleanup as well
- regular shopping line is long
- Pharmacy line outside depending on how many people are waiting inside. I was escorted in and out. I can not walking around inside.
- Return line at the small door next to the big exit door. I am not sure whether someone is making sure people leave after returning items.
So what costco does is ask the person to wait in line like the others, then go return item and then let the person bypass the lineup to go shop.
If only returning and not shopping, shouldn't need to lineup. There is a separate lineup for returns only and can't shop.
I am contemplating whether to keep it or return it. I don't want to line up for 1-2 hours at Costco to return this thing.
