    • Been using this now for(2x) 6 weeks and it makes it really simple for a DIY

Paid $58..99 at Amazon, at this price it’s a steal!

Hint: If you angle #4 you can decrease the amount it cuts.

Just make sure you look and separate the adjusting clips as there is a blender as well.

      Cheers and good luck.

    • thanks, I have tried to cut my hair recently with a trimmer my dad used but it is corded and very very loud, it took me a very long time and my ears were ringing for quite a while after... I hope hair cut attempt #2 goes better...

Edit: can this go down to 0, description mentions lengths 1-4

    • I haven’t tried 0 as I usually use #1 as the shortest.

      Cheers!

    • They must have a lot of these - tried the "add 999 quantity to cart to check stock" and had 999 successfully add to my cart...

I've got 999 problems, but hair salon expenditures is not one.

    • It will be interesting to see if salons are going to be facing a longer-term drop in business (especially from male clientele) with the investment in DIY equipment, or if the DIY results the first time around are going to be so bad, it's going to be the first and the last haircut at home...

    • Ok, a haircut in my experience is short on top, fade on the side.
This looks like something just to shave the whole head evenly.

Bingo, this would need longer attachments, think 0.5" is the longest one.

    • Let me get 1 or 2 decent haircuts out of this and I'll break even. Thanks OP.

Apparently you can fade with it ... But I'm nervous to try it.

Depends how you use it and what kind of cut you're looking for...

Since this clipper has 4 grades, you can use it for short fades to your sides and back, just not useful to cut your top.
