First time buying tires? Most manufacturers do a rebate incentive at the same times of year as long as i can remember. Once for summers and once for winters.

    • No, I just don't wait around wishing upon a star. Last year the Falken promo started April 1st and it didn't include AT3W.

I was looking at PSS/PS4S but now you've got me thinking about the Indy 500's now as well... April 15th is so far though...

I can't comment on the PS4S's but I bought the 500's last year. BIG bang for the buck imo. Well behaved, quiet, very good traction in the dry and good in the wet too.

Muhahaha, I had the same dilemma, but I solved it. I have PS4S on my car right now which have been nothing short of amazing. But they cost me a small fortune.

But I'm going down in size, and this time I want to get Indy 500. I heard good things about them. Hopefully, they'll be great too.

    • Considering the 500s as well for my S3. Waiting until mid-April is kind of annoying, though.

What's the current go-to for online tires? Local selection is... lacking here in Charlottetown

All Canadian online shops are overpriced. Surprise surprise. But I find it depends on the brand and size. Find what you need, and compare prices on all of them. Even check Canadian Tire. Sometimes with the discounts it makes sense.

    • I received this email from Parkway Honda in the GTA. They state that they will price match competitors and beat the lowest price by an additional $50.00. Great deal when you can still get a mail-in rebate for added savings.

It's honestly very frustrating not being able to find a single negative review of the PS4S (other than people complain about the price). Indy500 i believe is great bang for the buck (even more so with a $100 rebate wow that's cheap if you aren't in a rush), but i feel like people have lower expectations because of the price. It's nearly half the price of the PS4S in the size i'm shopping for; i really doubt the PS4S are twice as good. I'm sure they'll be better, but the question is how much better.. Makes the decision tough.

Vacation coming up and SO needs a root canal.. that $500 would come in handy haha. Might be cheap and get the Indy500s. Anyone use both care to comment?

PMCtire is decently competitive (comparing pricing to Simply Tire) and they have free shipping. Problem is if you're just buying tires online you still have to pay to get them installed somewhere whereas when you buy tires in person install is usually included.

A lot of these rebates are stackable for an additional $150 off a set when you buy using the Scotiabank GM Visa card at a Certified Service location.

I am curious to know if you need to have the same brand car to get TIRE services from these dealerships?

Also, some of the MIR mentionned about authorized dealers and since they don't have a list, can you get anywhere? I'm planning on getting a set from Quattro online.

Guess you are a little early?
As per OP purchases made between "April 1 – May 12, 2019"

    • Kind of cheesed that I need to wait until April 15th for the Indy 500's but that rebate amount all but sealed my decision to go with those this year.
