      If you didn't get the cashback as of yet then they give it out after the return window is closed. This is what other have experienced. Its a risk, no doubt, up to you if you want to wait and see or not.

      Why should I risk not getting the cash back and be out over a hundred bucks. Dyson can easily get the cash back from Rakuten since they pay out quarterly.     • Yup, same here. I managed to connect to Live Chat but the person just kept pasting that they have to wait for Dyson to confirm/review the order. When I told her I had the vacuum in hand with packing slip and receipt they just kept pasting the same thing. Eventually this person ended the Live Chat on their own before resolving my issue. Hopefully it gets resolved but the copy and paste answer is that the view typically takes 10 days and up to 45 days.

      Yup, same here.

      I sent a follow up email a week after my "where's my cash back" form and was told to wait until Dyson responds to them. Hopefully this doesn't become an issue.

    • They do this 2-3x a year, the next one is on the 30th. They also now have capped total redemption at $1,000, so if you redeemed $1,000 in CTM you would get $200 back.

    • You could also factor in the ripple effect of cashing in CTM during redemption bonuses, like the upcoming one where you get 20% back in CTM when redeeming, which makes it go a little further.

      You could also factor in the ripple effect of cashing in CTM during redemption bonuses, like the upcoming one where you get 20% back in CTM when redeeming, which makes it go a little further.

      I found that link too and the chat button didn't seem to work either. I do recall using it once about a year ago? Don't know what changed.
      I can't submit another "where's my cash back" so I might have to wait that 10 business day they told me or submit another email :/ I do hope I get the cash back cuz it many others have received theirs.

      I think the consensus from all the various Dyson threads is that it's the same and is the newest one as long as it has the "anti-hair tangle comb" label on the head itself (which mine does have). They were prob just using up all the boxes with the old labels.

      This one one on dyson's site is different than the one I got (colour) and it says its for the v15 absolute but I don't think there is really a difference between absolute and total clean (other than included accessories and filter)

      Weird, I've gotten that response before too on purchases that weren't registering in Rakuten and they just added it on. And this one was actually shown as tracked and I even received an email about cashback "coming soon."

    • hi guys, so I ordered the V15 few days back for $849 plus Rakuten 10% cashback. Got the cashback with in an hour. They delivered the V15 this morning - however, to my surprise the box says it includes the High Torque cleaner head - as per the dyson website it should have the upgraded/newer Digital motorbar cleaner head.

      Just curious if it happened to other too? and what should I do in such a scenario? Should i return to one of the physical stores here in Calgary and get a new one from them as they dropped the price today from $849 to $799 as well.

    • I just got off from the chat support - they said they have adjusted the price and i will get my $50 in a few days and for the attachment head they will send me a Digital Motorhead cleaner head and I will then have to return the head i originally received to Dyson store. Let's see how many days it will take. No confirmation of these chat promises in emails yet - she said i will receive the emails within 24 hours so lets see. But honestly a bit disappointed - how could they send me a machine with an older cleaner head while the website says otherwise. This upgraded cleaner head was the reason why i ordered through Dyson instead of Costco though costco price was $20 cheaper

      Same happened to me. I contacted support via chat and they said they will adjust the price and asked me to email photos. My cashback was $102 and I'm assuming it will be adjusted to the new amount. I'll contact Rakuten if the cashback disappears.

    • FYI for those who bought earlier in the week, Dyson has a boxing week sale that started today. $200 off V15 instead of the $150 off than earlier in the week. I called Dyson to get the balance refunded back to me as I ordered the V15 on Dec 13, and had no issues with them. Just waiting to see how the 12% Rakuten is going to shake out.

    • Wow that would suck, seems like a waste of time for all parties involved as the one I bought friday is already shipped.

      Idk if I wanna push my luck with dyson returns either unless they are really generous about their return policy. (was already gonna return a v8 i bought during black friday event for the v15)
      Update - I emailed Rakuten regarding price matching the cash back %. They added $25 to my account as pending, I can claim this for a future cash back order. Still could have gotten more $$ if I waited for 12.5%, but it is something lol.

      Dyson also processed the $50 refund since the Boxing Day deal today is better.

    • Ordered Dec 13, delivered Dec 14th (BC sent from ON)... and my original one with standard shipping that was ordered 9th still hasn't moved (both shipped using purolator). I'm glad I reordered after seeing that express shipping was free. Now I just hope purolator will be able to return to sender and I can get refunded.

      Rakuten still shows pending.

      Random observation but the v8 and this new v15 both had like random dirt/dust on it.

      Pretty sure the dok is already apart of the v15 absolute package. They seemed to add the floor dok in this time around and removed the extra battery that came with the absolute version in the past. Personally, I would have liked the extra battery more.
