    • This one is on sale too…just a jacket, but we bought it for our 3 year old at the beginning of the season and she loves it. I paired it with some George snowpants.

She also has a snowsuit set from Carter’s and she hates it. It’s too big and bulky and hard to walk in. She used to fuss about putting on her coat from Carters, but she likes this one.

I thought Carters would be the best…but I find the sizing of their winter stuff is off.

    • Thanks OP. Thinking of grabbing this for next year, kiddo will be 2.5 when winter starts - should we get 2T or 3T?
Probably safer to size up, unless your little one os on the small side. We usually size down for our oldest daughter who is really petite for her age. We get bigger sizes for our younger one who is average size. Depends on the kid I guess…sometimes it’s hard to predict how much they’ll grow!

    • Buy both sizes and then try & decide
Kinda difficult to estimate for next year but true, a bit easier to decide on hand.
I would grab 3T if I have to pick one. It just *might* work for the winter after at 3.5
      Good point!

    • Will have a newborn in Feb and wondering if this will be warm enough in a less than -10 weather. We have a carseat cover/bunting bag but wondering if he will still be cold if we just carry him outside with this on only.
Congrats! Our daughter was born in November and our son in January. We had a car seat cover and we would strap them in with tuque and booties, tuck a blanket around them and zip up the cover and they were always fine. My wife also had one of those extender pieces in her winter coat so to carry our daughter around outside, she'd put the baby carrier on before her coat, strap our daughter in to the carrier and then close the coat over her.

He'll be fine. Add blankets if you're worried.

Just please remember that the straps go under the bunting/blankets, not over them, if you're strapping baby in for a ride in a car. There should be minimal fabric between baby and the car seat straps or this can happen.

You don't need it this year, because it is too young to walk out. Min 12M old to walk out in winter.

Just buy 2 in different colour or size and return the other.

    • Thanks OP.

There are also some good deals on Toddler jackets and snow suits on the Sportchek website as well.
That is if you can patiently search, filter and sort through different items.

But with coupons and discounts there are some great deals to be had right now.

    • I am patiently waiting for the deep discounts on Carter's snowsuits on their website.... I like how they come with hat and neck warmer.

Anyone know when the sales should start?

    • Child of mine is equivalent to Old Navy of the Gap.

    • Discount version of Carter's IMO. "Child of Mine" is not sold at actual Carter's
