    • Placed my order on Feb 12th for the navy version. Got the order confirmation but still waiting for tracking/shipping info. For those of you who received their orders, did you have tracking or did package just arrive?

    • Mine arrived. beautiful coat, very soft luxurious material.
fit: fortunately mine does fit me, I would say the arms are a little narrow relative to the other parts unless you have a slim lanky build vs a bulky build

    • Look the "waist" measure, size#3 is 32. That's not for 6'1.
Ideally, you want to fit chest and waist for it to look nice. If it doesn't match either one then the cut may not be for you. Considering it's a $200+ jacket, it's a bit too much risk if you don't know their fit as it is final sale.

    • Here's how I see it:

My friend is 6' and has a 30" waist.
I'm 5'11, usually size 38/40 with 33" waist but 36" during covid. Post-covid, I converted 20-30lbs of fat so my waist is 33 with 42 chest. After switching from slim -> fat -> athletic, I've learned that buying a jacket based on chest is more important than the bottom part. If the chest doesn't fit, it's not going to fit regardless of waist. On a jacket like this, if the chest fits, the bottom not closing all the way isn't a dealbreaker.
I'm 5'11", 200, 32 inch waist all my adult life until I jumped to a 33 during covid. I went with a size 4 because I wear a 40 when I buy suits. Size 3 is a 38 inch chest, which will be too small for someone our size.

    • Good call, didn't like how long it was.
overcoat vs topcoat. overcoats hit below the knee - usually mid-calf

overcoat is what you want if you're wearing a suit.

    • Unless you're benching over 3 plates, looking at the chart and your height you should be a size 3 or even a 2, no? I feel like size 3 is a slightly slim medium according to the model. I want to know too because I'm similar size.

    • I got that same jacket in blue 8 years ago, wore it for 2-3 years and no real wear and tear and I paid full price for it so this is a steal.

    • Damn, sold out of 3's, otherwise I would've been all over this.

    • I am 5'6, I'm assuming all the sizes here will be too tall for me? I usually do 38 chest and 15 for collar. I could maybe get a size 2, but they're all the same length anyway.

    • Those pictures are of a different coat - the Ederson which has the removable inner quilted lining.

Now, having checked that listing I'm a little concerned about Ted's sizing.
I ordered a couple 7's for my boys as the chest would be close at 46 inches according to the menswear size guide.
However, the Ederson listing shows a 7 as a 3XL!!
Guess we'll see when they get delivered. Better bigger than smaller I suppose.

    • Wool is very soft, there's the inner jacket that's attached, retails for 725. It's longer, goes to my knees (5'10) as opposed to the 3/4 coats.

I went with the size chart but i would size down if you're between sizes. Especially if you want it tailored/slim.

    • Thanks, OP! I just ordered the coat, a couple of shirts, and some socks.

PS: I called customer service, and the guy there said any online purchase can be returned within 28 days. The other return restrictions apparently apply only to in-store purchases. YMMV, but it convinced me.

    • Ted Baker is my jam, one of my favourite designer brands. I already have a similar looking coat in herringbone from the early days of Zara (coats that don’t fall apart in 6 months) but otherwise I’d totally have jumped on this. Great first post.

    • Is this online only? Or also available in stores? I usually don't buy clothes unless I first try it on.
YMMV - previous sales have been available in-store but stock varied quite a bit
That is a fantastic deal, I am confused about the sizing though. Says the model is 6' and wears a size 3? Chest measurement for a size 3 is only 38"... Something seems off
It's fairly accurate IMO. Ted Baker tends to have a fairly slim fit for most of their collection.
As a tall skinny person, I appreciate it.

      I'm 6'1 ~160lbs and wear size 38 blazers....Ted Baker size 3 fits me like a glove

Some sizes (in navy and gray) are still available on my end, not sure why it'd show OOS for some.
