    • I know someone only buys clearance Costco clothings for their kids but load up designer brands for themselves.
      Not a fan of that.
So you’re annoyed they don’t buy their children high end designer clothing? That’s the point you’re making?

    • I don't see private sale when I log in. Last time I made a purchase from them was September
      I don’t see it either.

Will wait for the general sales, it’s fine. The longer we wait the heavier the discount is haha

    • I've never had an issue with their shipping, but I do have an issue with their pricing.

It happens rarely, but I do seems to stumble on 1 or 2 every time I go shop on their website. The issue is they don't use the correct MSRP. They state a higher regular price. I did find one instance where regular price was below MRSP. so I'm not fully convinced it was intentional, but rather whoever is doing this is just really bad at their job. It's enough for me to double check their pricing before buying anything from them.

    • For the record I've never had any issues with ssense. Orders always arrive in a couple days (in Ontario) and sure some items are returns, but so what?
You get free shipping and free returns and people still complain
Some people expect retailers that allow returns to never sell returned items again.

Some people complain about retailers that don't accept returns.

People who belong in the first group should shop at retailers that don't allow returns, and people who belong in the second group should shop at retailers that allow returns. Problems solved.

    • I don't see any problem with that. Why do kids need designer brands? They can get it themselves when they can afford it.
RFD has opened my eyes about what kind of petty things people judge others on when it comes to how they choose to spend their own money.

Tons of people buy clothes from Costco for themselves and their children. It shouldn't matter if some of these people also buy designer stuff for their adult selves. Children grow fast, and do not require expensive clothes. There are children out there who have to wear hand-me-downs/second hand clothes.

Super fast shipping from Montreal, good discounts on items that are hard to find elsewhere, and free returns.

    • I know someone working in their office who loves it there. Hard to imagine it not translating to the fashion or tech department.

I don't even know what this company is. Seems like some weird, overpriced designer fashion clothing for people who wants to be rich but aren't. Overpriced Winners for rich-kid-wannabes?
I mean it’s always ymmv depending on where you’re working. But most if not all departments have an extremely high turnover rate because management is so dysfunctional.

    • Probably depends on how much you've spent over the last year, not "loyalty"

I was placed at level 3 and the free priority shipping is nice.

You start from 0 to renew but if you're a previous customer they place you at level 2 or 3

      1 point = $1 spent

      LEVEL 1 1000 points
      LEVEL 2 2000 points
      LEVEL 3 5000 points

Spending 5k for level 3 is pretty ridiculous
nope, not me level 1 and I spent a few thousand in the last 12 months

    • I highly don't recommend Mr Porter. They sent me a sweatshirt with a 3" mis-stitching section in the collar. I sent pictures to their customer service as I wanted to return/refund and they didn't reply for 3 months. Their response eventually was that they needed a statement from a professional proving it's a defect... I filed a dispute with my bank and never bought from them since.

    • ssense is total trash. Everything you order comes 1-2 weeks with busted packaging and always an obviously returned item. Try Mr Porter for good service. Not like you nerds are high fashion enough for ssense anyway.

    • How much would you guess you spent in the last year?
Not sure but picked up a few pricey long-term grails on sale over the last year so that's probably why. I've been coveting them for a few years now and managed to find them on sale for a somewhat reasonable price so it's a nice little gesture to get placed at level 3

    • Got put into level 2 membership tier despite being a customer for 11 years now. Felt like a bit of a slap in the face. Definitely not the biggest spender on the site, but you would think loyalty would be worth something more than the 2nd lowest tier

There is some truth to this - it is hit and miss. I ordered an item from Essentials last year for my son and the label was literally peeling off. Have been happy with some orders.
