      YMMV on this.

    • The year is 2050. Sportchek’s weekly Friends and Family sale is on again. I have over 300 bicycles in my home and 5,000 badminton rackets. I don’t even play badminton. A bike falls on me, crushing my frail body. My last words whisper out, “....is Arcteryx included?”

    • Sportchek gift card sales need to precede all Sportchek sales.
Most ppl who bought during the VIP sale should have gotten their fill by now.
Can't see prices with FF discount being any cheaper than the cost + 15% a few weeks ago.
But THANKS for the heads up anyways.

Most of the stuff you buy from sportchek will work anywhere, it’s not discriminatory.

If you want something not as expensive, Diadora has the Modena currently on sale for $300.

Otherwise, I have heard good things about the GT transeo series of hybrid bikes, but they are much more expensive (higher end components/frame)

    • Was mashing the apply button for this code on some Arcteryx jackets but just squinted at the fine print seeing that it is excluded.

      Guess I can sleep now!

    • What irks me the most is that the 2017-18 EPL kits are the same price as the current year's editions. Shouldn't the price go down slightly as it is a one year old kit?

Don't worry, apparently even in 2050 people will still be unsure if Arc'teryx is excluded.

    • Just my 2 cents, but a lot of the stuff at Sportchek is always on sale and always has a discount and the price just fluctuates to make it look like a deal.

One example. I bought a pair of Bauer supreme 1s skates for $350 - on sale but no extra coupons etc. Over the past 3 months I have watched them fluctuate from 350-380-450-411 etc. With today's sale you get 10% off clearance which brings them from 411 down to 370. Still $20 more than what I paid 3 months ago with no particular sale at the time.

It seems to me that stores like Sportchek and Best Buy are following in Can Tire footsteps of over pricing items and then discounting to appear on sale.

Anyways there might be lots of stuff there, but we bought a lot of things since xmas and they all follow the pattern above to varying degrees.
