There should be NO reason that it gets cancelled. The sizes are in stock RN and the sale is still ONGOING. (just tested the code)
Good choice the higher you're off the ground the more chance of more rom to catch or get under or hit depth. RLL are higher off the ground .86inch vs Adipowers .75 vs Powerlifts .6.
RLL is a pretty heavy and stable shoe compared to the rest. The flexweave of this shoe in particular will allow you to get under it faster due to the pliability? of the flexweave.
Powerlifts 2: I've squatted over 500# with barely any notice of support failure. Mid 500 youll notice it. Near 600 you lose confidence. I've cleaned 225 easily with these for reps without any fear of stability.
They bear the name of powerlifts afterall...
At RLL $112 (less with CB)... this is the best deal for the shoe that can last you many years.
RLL tokishiji on ig has squatted 660x3? easily as well as hang box snatches and cj. Has like 3 pairs of these in difference colorways and can tell he loves these shoes. They've paid near $200 since in asia rarely have sales like us.
Powerlifts4 FIT small, you might need to size up because the heel has this new cushioning in the rear.
Reebok / Adidas have a more than generous online return policy. Get both because comparing powerlifts4 to RLL is a bad idea until you try it.
RLL: Wider and weirder toe box, a dual strap system at better locations and combo makes it real stable and solid giving confidence. No weird cushioning that pushes you further.
Even if 1 strap fails youll be OK with 1 strap, you must be really unlucky if both fail at the same time.
If it does fail and the shoes broken in... wear a thicker sock or tie it down tighter.
Longevity wise: I don't think these will last 5y long... the flexweave feels like it can eventually fray or it stretches wide real fast compared to the leather uppers of adipower1.
(That's why I refused to get the adipowers2 because of their woven textile design)
Im on my 4-5th year of adipower1 and regularly squat above 500s and it's real lose but still trotting along and expect to last 1 year more. The heel area has deformed a bit but still managable. I just lace mines super tight and the leather etc still looks fine despite the abuse of my adipowers 1.
At this price point... RLL are a better deal compared to Powerlifts and Adipowers. Especially the dual strap system really helps when its around after you break in.
US had a 30% sale recently off everything and I think They were under $80USD.
We've havent been able to get adipowers here for anywhere near were it once was.
Personally don't have the RLL but I've read reviews, followed enough people that talk about it, videos, etc comparing many shoes and some even against each other.
If I have to say go for the 7s if you're comparing it to powerlift4 but it shouldnt matter if its half a size bigger on the safer side since youll be strapped in with dual straps.
I'd say just get both, the generous shipping of Adidas/Reebok option is just hard to pass up. It took me about 1 year to finally break in and mold my foot for my leather Adipower1, a lot less for flexweave and then a few months after that you might experience more than wanted amount of room.
Definitely a good buy, hotter if it was the OG LL. Not a huge fan of flexweave but it definitely does help with breathability.
If you folks can, I would suggest to buy Romaleos 2. Not a flashy shoe but it is a pair that will last a decade. It took months to properly break them in but they've been absolutely solid for seven years.
Do you have Legacy? what is your experience? If I fit perfectly in 7.5 in Powerlift, do you think it's better to buy a 7.5, or a 7 in Legacy? I hear about the strap failure a lot after 2 years of use, but I expect a solid pair of Oly shoes to last for at least 5 years.
Ill be returning these. These feel pretty good, stable sole and really close and you can feel the ground more.
You could say you could use this for boxing footwork, but have decided to get boxing shoes instead.
For deadlifts sole feels stable definitely stiff enough in the right places for efficient power transfer from the ground.
The flexweave would allow a lighter and more flexible to triple extension in the toe area for a lighter shoe for cleans compared to adipower1. Has a little more room in the toe area for stability.
Squats feels stable except I prefer a strap to keep the ankles locked in, feels like the side would be cushioned if going heavy because theres an extra flap of padding on each side for side to side movement.
The soles feel a lot better than my current SABO deadlift shoes but nano9 the ankle heights too low and I prefer a strap to secure for both deadlift and squat.
Cardio/ circuit, this is a pretty good just testing the movements, has some cushioning compared to my other lifting shoes.
Nano X is around the corner. Would've kept these if they were GID version.
I feel the powerlifts 0.6" heel height for sub $60 is a better fit for all of the above compared to nano9@4mm heel height sub $100 shoe.
These fit half a size large if you have narrow feet/TTS if you have wide feet.
Lengthwise it's TTS like the rest of the size 9 reeboks i've tried about half thumb nail from big toe to top of shoe.
Wider toe box definitely helps with wiggle room, and in the midfoot feels like adequate space and wraps your food prebreakin. I have wide feet and it wraps around my foot TTS.
You want these hugging you (NOT wrapping and NOT tight), pre-break-in because once it's broken in there could be more movement especially if you switch between lifting heavy/crosstraining, thicker deadlift socks and regular socks.
Sizing guide:
Adipower1: sz9 (hugs then when broken in molds to feet, near end-life thicker socks will make it hug)
Powerlifts sz8.5 (too narrow and feels restricting even when it isnt tied down)
Do-Win Oly shoes with 1 strap sz8.5 (very wide toe, fits loose, consider size down, break-in=lateral and vertical movement)
Sabo Deadlifts: sz10 (notion that these fit small, sized up, no breakin and doesn't feel narrow on sides, straps tie down side to side/up and down and I dont feel any vertical shifting yet easy on and off, not broken in)
Asics Aggressor: sz10 (too long, sides middle of hug and wrap, heel comes up and can notice the slide even when tied very tight)
Reebok Nano 9: sz9 the perfect amount of hugging+ good toe wiggle room, sz9.5 (notice shifts vertically when doing pivot drills and the heel might glide up when it's broken in)
Reebok lo-quality running shoes: sz9 (too narrow on a lot of the running shoes! sides still narrow even after break-in) sz9.5 (feels better and wraps around foot, not broken in)
AF1: sz8.5(wraps around foot) (sz9 notice some sliding around, slides around especially after break in)
Ultraboost: sz9 (tight on sides, not broken in yet) sz9.5 (feels good right away, it's a lifestyle shoe not looking to exercise)
Redbacks bobcat boots: sz9.5 (doesn't come in half sizes, feels great with or without thick socks)
Happened on Adidas to me. You have to use a different browser or incognito.
Feel free to post em up
Good deal btw OP, was able to snag a couple more pairs of trainers that I don't need.
https://www.reebok.ca/en/one-series-run ... Y8332.html
love them
I spent more for crappy runners from the shoe company with a code.
These should help lose the 10 lbs gained during the lock down.
When I was buying there was two colour options, I almost always go black. Reebok is owned by Adidas are they known for bad quality?

Thanks OP
Glad I popped into this thread, and managed to order two pairs of shoes... Only one was for myself!
Costco has currently on sale Fila 6 pairs for $8.99, cotton content identical. Probably better quality though, I guess anything is better than modern days Reebok.
Very poor quality runners/sneakers.
Got these from one of previous similar sales.
Wore maybe a dozen times, identical tear also developed on the other runner/sneaker.
Contacted the Reebok and was told to ship them back (pay the fees myself)and might get a credit towards the next purchase. Not worth it. Gonna stick to adidas and Nike in the future.
