    • I just purchased the waterproof enough gloves, very comfortable, and actually work with my iPhone.

The number of times I've clicked a deal link that was wrong, or had to go back for ebates, I prefer no links.
I don't know about all that, I never use the link in the parsed redflagdeals box that comes with the past. Just the link the OP pastes in the body of the thread. I've read RFD parses links within their search bar, which may end up with a non working link.

Regardless, thanks for sharing the deal. Bought two pairs of gloves

They have waterproof in the name but in the specs it says no to waterproof?

    • looking for the warmest gloves that they offer. Do I just assume the most expensive = the warmest? Those (ice fields) have no reviews. Anyone got any idea?

Warm gloves that work with touchscreens that aren't too bulky

What is their return policy? Maybe I'll buy multiple pairs online and return the ones I don't like

Do you still have to be a member to shop in their stores? I know I have a family member that was a member but I doubt they still have the card/number

Their descriptions are usually accurate. So the soche has thumb and index touchscreen overlay.

Yes you have to be a member ($5 lifetime). You can usually try a couple phone numbers in store. Online you will probably have to get your own (worth it).

You can return anything. They have rocksolid guarantee https://www.mec.ca/en/explore/returns-faq

    • In my past experience nothing beats a good pair of leather gloves for durability

All the synthetics tear too easily and stiffen in colder temps.

Seems most of the gloves with 50% discount are lower end products.

Adage you get what you pay for seems to apply here.

The nordique gloves are supposed to be pretty good I heard... I bought two pairs.

I was looking to buy these last year but didn't pull the trigger... Had the same questions you had, wasn't really sure what to buy. Ended up doing some research but couldn't find much...

I did read though that back a few years ago MEC gloves had a goretex liner and then they changed to their equivalent.

Anyways I'm hoping these do the job... Looking to use these for skiing.
