I think these might be the returns from previous sales. Tbh it's not a good watch. The battery is the major problem. If you don't use it very often, it can last for a day most. But why do I even wear it if I can't use it often? Also Android wear is terrible. This thing can't even track my sleep.

Trust me you'll want to return it after a couple weeks even at this price.

    • Bought the wife a refurb sport pink one last sale and it looks and seems to work like brand new. Just a heads up that their website stock tracking sucks and they don't bother notifying you that your order is canceled due to out of stock. I had to try a few orders before one finally went through. Just bought another one for my son because he thinks his mom's is so awsome so fingers crossed it goes through!

    • I got a gen 4 refurbished. It appeared as new but I can't say I'm impressed with the watch functionality. I would pass.

My gen 4 battery lasts about 6 hours, that's pull from charger at 7am and charge at noon, then it's dead for 8pm at the latest. The 'chargers' cost nearly as much as these watches do. I'm opting to repair my pebble instead of getting a new battery for Android wear. I find it's just a slow terribly unreliable watch overall. It even had the wrong time once due to it's own power management. time is the main feature of any watch IMO and should never be wrong or off by an hour. The bad ux is above and beyond how horrid the battery life is.

Something wrong with your set up, I have 40-50% battery left at the end of the day ( 5am-9pm) on my gen 4 Explorist. I use it a lot and have display always on, Wifi on, wrist gestures disabled.

    • Same here with my Explorist and my wife's sport. They both last us more than a day and that's with notifications constantly going off, display always on, WiFi on and wrist gestures disabled, to the point that if I turn it off at night and forget to charge it I'll get an entire work day before I need to charge it again. More than happy with WearOS.

    • Got a refurb Gen 4 from one of the previous sales.

My smartwatch battery easily lasts at least 2 days and I have my screen, HR, BT always on. If i dont touch the watch it can go for 3 - 3.5 days max. before needing a recharge.

I easily get a full day out of this watch from when I get out of bed to when I go to bed. The only exception is with extensive GPS use. I don't find it that slow either even compared to my Gen 5. Maybe you have a lemon.

Guess I was just spoiled with the sheer functionality of a useful watch before going to Android wear, so my opinion is heavily biased. The watch is also about 1 year old, June 2019 actually so it isn't new, and so don't quality for a free battery replacement. 1 year isn't long for a lithium cell to kaput but that's about 600 charge cycles. Even so they claim it needs to
die within 3hr of full charge to get a battery on them in warranty.

    • I'll chime in. I bought a sport back in Feb I think when it was like $109.

I actually forgot to return it, and am stuck with it now. But I never wear it.
Battery life is bad, features are limited, doesn't even track sleep. You can track sleep with a 3rd party app but it will literally take your fully charged watch down to like 15% by the time you wake up the next morning, rendering it pretty much useless as well.

Really disappointed WearOS is so behind.

It sits in between. Sport has the gen 5 cpu (SD3100) and gen 4 ram (512mb).
