Tim Hortons Collector's Series NHL Trading Cards Have Returned for 2017!

By Thomas Kenzaki

When you think of Canada two of the first things that come to mind are probably Tim Hortons and hockey. Last year Tim Hortons released a set of NHL trading cards and they’ve just made their return ahead of the 2017-18 season. You’ll be able to purchase packs of Tim Hortons Collector's Series NHL Trading Cards at Tim Hortons restaurants from now through the month of October.

Each pack of cards contain 3 cards and are being sold for $1.99 or $1 with a purchase of any beverage. There is also a chance you’ll receive a special limited edition card such as a Sidney Crosby Superstar Signature Autograph Card or Aaron Ekblad Autographed Timbits Card. Some of these will be super rare as you can see in the below chart.

In addition to the physical cards which you purchase in-store, you can also collect a set of digital cards online at CollectToWin.ca. Here you’ll be able to get a new digital card each day (24 hours) and even win some sweet prizes! Also don’t just throw out your physical card packages because inside you’ll find a code which you can redeem at CollectToWin.ca which will give you 3 digital cards.

Some of the prizes available in the online contest portion include Tim Card’s, Shop.NHL.com gift cards, EA Sports NHL 18 PlayStation prize packs and more! A full list of prizes available can be found in the official contest rules.

Tim Hortons also wants to “bring members of the community together” so they’re setting up a series of regional hockey card trade nights throughout the month of October at their restaurants. Since collecting the entire set yourself would be difficult this is a great way to connect with other hockey fans while enjoying a double double. We could not find a list of dates or locations for these events so check with your local Tim Hortons for more information.

Will you be buying any packs of cards with your morning coffee? Which players card are you most hoping to get? Let us know in the comments!
