It’s the annual tradition that unites Tim Hortons lovers and contest enthusiasts across Canada. A tradition so deeply ingrained into Canadian culture that it’s severed friendships and produced DNA test lawsuits -- it’s Roll Up the Rim to Win and it’s back for 2017!
This year, there are a total of 294,069,480 contest cups available throughout the country with over $77 million worth of prizes available to be won, including:
- 40 2017 Honda Civic Coupe EX-T vehicles (1 in 7,498,772 odds)
- 100 $5,000 CIBC Prepaid cards (1 in 2,999,509 odds)
- 150 LG 55" 4K UHD televisions (1 in 1,999,672 odds)
- 24,000 $100 Tim Card prizes (1 in 12,498 odds)
- 49,007,531 food prizes, including coffee, donuts and potato wedges (1 in 6 odds)
There’s also an overwhelming chance that you’ll see PLEASE PLAY AGAIN at least once, but that shouldn’t deter you from playing, as the thrill of the chase is part of the fun -- click here to view the official contest rules.
Interestingly, contest cups are not distributed evenly across the country, as you’ll find more cups in certain areas of Canada. We’ve charted the estimated cup distribution numbers below.
