Starbucks/iTunes Pick of the Week Now Includes iPhone Apps (New Free Download Card In Stores Weekly)
Starbucks started expanding their "Pick of the Week" program in the US a few months ago, and their Canadian locations are following suit. Starting this week, the Pick of the Week cards (which have previously offered free music downloads from the iTunes music store) will feature free iPhone app downloads as well!
Each week, there will be a new song or app featured on the cards. Grab your card in stores, and then use the code on the back to get your free download. You will need an iTunes store login to redeem your code.
This week's pick is the Scrabble App, and next week's free app will be Snapseed, an image editing app for iPhones and iPads.

Starbucks: My Starbucks Rewards Launching in Canada on October 4 -- Earn Points Towards Free Drinks
Starbucks Canada sent out an email last night announcing that their rewards program will be launching in Canada next week! Although they already have standard rewards for Canadian Starbucks card holders such as free birthday drinks, refills and beverage customization, you'll now be able to earn points towards free drinks.
Starting October 4, when you use a registered Starbucks card to make a purchase, you will earn a star on your account. The more stars you accumulate, the more rewards you will receive. For more details on available rewards, click here. If you are a regular Starbucks visitor, signing up for this program is a great way to earn a free drink every once in a while.
To make sure you can participate in the program, sign in or create an account, register your Starbucks cards and update your information.
