Though this game is more akin to Team Fortress 2 than it is to Battlefield 3, it is definitely worth your time if you enjoy mindless destruction without too much strategy involved. The KidsBowlFree.com program returns again this year, giving your children the opportunity to enjoy two free games of bowling at participating bowling centres every day, all summer long. You can register for select bowling centres now, with program start dates beginning as early as May 1.

Here's a great freebie from forum user wongbr: Adobe Photoshop CS6 is on the way, and they released the beta version yesterday. Right now, you can give the new features a whirl by downloading the beta version for free.

The great thing about this download is that you do not need a serial number in order to install/use the program. When installing, make sure you select "I want to try Adobe Photoshop CS6 for a limited time" at the Welcome screen. You will need to enter your Adobe ID (or register for free) in order to complete the installation. The free beta will be valid until the final version goes on sale later this year.

A few weeks ago, Dropbox was testing the beta version of their automatic photo/video upload feature for desktop and offering free storage to anyone who tried it out. Today, they launched the latest version of their Android app, which automatically uploads your photos and videos to Dropbox (using Wi-Fi or your data plan).

To encourage users to test out the new app features, they are giving extra Dropbox storage space to those who try out the automatic photo/video upload features in the app. On your first photo upload, you will get 500MB of extra storage added to your account. As you continue uploading images/video through the app, more free storage will be added to your account in 500MB increments, up to a total of 3GB.

If you took advantage of the desktop automatic photo/video upload freebie, you will keep the extra storage space you earned, but you can only earn up to a total of 5GB of extra storage. Although this offer is for Android users only, an iPhone version of the app update is reportedly on the way.

Starbucks started expanding their "Pick of the Week" program in the US a few months ago, and their Canadian locations are following suit. Starting this week, the Pick of the Week cards (which have previously offered free music downloads from the iTunes music store) will feature free iPhone app downloads as well!

Each week, there will be a new song or app featured on the cards. Grab your card in stores, and then use the code on the back to get your free download. You will need an iTunes store login to redeem your code.

This week's pick is the Scrabble App, and next week's free app will be Snapseed, an image editing app for iPhones and iPads.

Here's a handy freebie! Dell Voice is a new program/service from Dell and Fongo.com that gives you a free phone number, free local calling, and free Canadian long distance (see list of cities below) with your smartphone or desktop. Calls between Dell Voice numbers are also free. The key thing to understand is that calls are made over data networks (an active internet connection) instead of voice minutes. That said, it has the advantage of giving you a real phone number that others can call directly -- even from landlines. Most VOIP services don't have this (at least, not free options in Canada).

The service runs as an application on your smartphone, tablet, or PC. You'll be able to call many Canadian cities for free (listed here). Your number also has free voicemail and caller ID. It's not necessarily useful for everyone, but as far as freebies go, this is pretty good! For example, If you take your phone to the US and are somewhere with free WiFi, you can make and receive calls to and from your home area code at no charge. The service currently supports Android, iOS, and Windows (PC). BlackBerry support is expected in the near future.
