Harvey's has a great promo going on Sunday, May 25 in Ontario and Quebec -- it's pretty complicated, though, so listen carefully:
  • Go to Harvey's from 10:30 am to 3 pm
  • Get a Free Original Burger
Did you follow all that? The details, including participating locations, are on Harvey's website. We're pleased to note there are quite a few downtown Toronto locations participating. Line-ups the day of the promotion might be long -- but, on the other hand, you'll get a free burger!

UPDATE: Just a reminder, Free Burger Day is this Sunday, May 25.

    • There are two separate promotions being cross-discussed in this thread, which may help to explain your apparent confusion:

      This thread, the one you're reading now, is about 'FREE ORIGINAL HAMBURGER DAY' at Harvey's on May 25th.

      The other promotion, for a FREE ANGUS BURGER (with menu item purchase) until April 27th is (and should be) discussed in this thread [link], all the long details of the history of this promotion are there if you take the time to read the thread.

      But the coles notes version for the Angus promotion is:
      - There is a promotion for a FREE ANGUS BURGER with any purchase until April 27th.
      - The coupon is no longer being distributed publicly -- although most RFDers report receiving the coupon via PM upon requesting it in the public forum
      - The promotion was recently confirmed as still valid at over 270 Harvey's locations (to the exclusion of a few food court Harvey's in Toronto) (see www.harveys.ca)

      The coupon I got in my email says April 9th expiry on it. Is it still valid till the 27th? The promotion has become a mess.

    • Since the sale has started, I have gotten two Anguses at Niagara Street in Welland, 3 on Casablanca in Grimsby, 4 In St. Jean Quebec, two more in Grimsby and my son went with 3 of his friends today in Welland. On top of that, I literally handed a bunch out on my first visit to Grimsby Harveys and my son copied tons for his Military buddies in Quebec.

      I have never yet even been Questioned regarding the coupon and have received tons of thank you's for my efforts (lol).

      Just tonight, my wife copied another dozen or so; she stated she has been handing out to friends at work.

      Now, having said all that, I am tired of the Angus presently but...its was a five star venture in my opinion, one which equalled the 8Gb USB drive I picked up for 20 bucks from Stooples the week before.

      Gotta love it here at RFD!!! I'm going broke saving money.

      Take a look at some of his posts and you'll see why. He has at least three locked threads right now. This is not the first ban for him which is why it is a permanent ban. Glad to see mods are on top of things. It makes for a better community for all of us.
