If you bring a tumbler/travel mug to any Starbucks in Canada on Earth Day, April 22, they will fill it with coffee for free! It can be any travel mug and if you use it again on subsequent days, they will give you $0.10 off your drink. Thanks to radio_head for spotting the deal!

- I noticed today written at the bottom of my Starbucks CC receipt, "Use a tumbler on Earth Day, April 22, & we'll fill it with brewed coffee - on us! Even better, receive 10 cents off each time you reuse it."

  So the first refill is free and any subsequent refills is 10cents off? How will they know if you went back again? Can you use any tumbler or does it have to be a Starbucks tumbler?

  Our customers are offered a complimentary drip coffee on April 22nd, Earth Day if they use their tumblers. We encourage our customers to continue to use their tumblers on an ongoing basis. Simply by using your tumbler every day you are doing your part towards helping preserve our environment. Starbucks will also support your efforts on going by giving you a 10 cent discount off of any beverage.
  
  Apparently the ten cent discount is for other beverages as well
  and is like Tim Horton's who discounts your coffee on subsequent visits as well if they put it in a refillable mug or thermos
  
  p.s. Is that how you talk when you're from Seattle?
  Who calls a coffee mug/cup a tumbler? No one from this neck of the woods, that's for sure.

- i just wrote to them and this is what they said:
  
  "In regards to your inquiry, our Canadian market is having an Earth Day promotion for customers that bring in their personal cups. All stores will be brewing Fair Trade Cafe Estima blend, and when customer brings in their personal cup, they are qualified to receive a free drip coffee in that personal cup."
  
  so, it seems that it's all stores.
