There's a new offer from discount brokerage Questrade.com that gives you 30 Free Trades in 30 Days when you open a new account before July 31st. There's a minimum balance of $1,000 required for the new account and the account has to be funded by August 14th, 2009. If you plan on transferring $25,000 or more from another account they'll pay for your transfer fees of up to $150 as well.

After your free trade period is over, you pay a penny per share traded with a minimum of $4.95 per trade and a maximum of $9.95 per trade. That's still a very low pricing structure and one of the big advantages of using Questrade. They've got some positive media coverage too and there's a HUGE discussion thread in the Personal Finance Forum where readers are sharing their opinions.
