  Anyways this is an unlocked phone price and by not buying it through a rogers or a cell provider, the cost is higher because you obviously don't have to sign a contract. If you looked at the price of any unlocked phone, its typically dramatically higher. E.g a 100 dollar phone from a company will typically be around 500 dollars without a contract and still locked.
  
  Flagship smart phone typically are around the 800 dollar range.

- I would stay away, this phone does not use a capacitive touch screen like the iPhone and Android phones. As much as I like Nokia, their touch interfaces need work.

  Resistive isn't all bad... at least you can use it with gloves on and you can use a stylus. Capacitive doesn't let you do that. Although I agree with you on how Nokia's touch interfaces need work since they are pretty new to the technology. There's no perfect phone out there and everything has its flaws.

- good price for those interested. currently selling for 669$+tx USD in the nokia's NYC flagship store. Played with it a bit but find it kinda of slow compare to the new iphone 3gs. The flipscreen is VERY nice though...
