Here's a short and sweet deal -- Best Buy has Infamous for the Playstation 3 for $29.99 until July 2. Infamous was released just over a month ago and it's a very rare to see a new release discounted so heavily.

Review aggregator website Metacritic.com has a score of 84/100 for Infamous. Big review outlets like IGN and 1UP.com have very positive reviews as well (92/100 and 91/100 respectively).

      I dont see a problem with it. They have to honour it, i believe you have price protection for 30 days, so just make sure you dont buy something more then 30 days in advance

      This is true, but the limited time of the deal may give them some leeway to avoid PP, perhaps. Same thing for Boxing Day sales, since they are extremely limited in quantity and duration, they have the option to not price protect BD items bought prior to BD. Hopefully this isn't the case with inFAMOUS and the like.

      And the 2 free games with each consoles looks pretty good.

      Yeah, I'm wondering about that too. Will this sale be online as well? Otherwise, it's a two day sale as Canada Day falls in between.

      BTW, i noticed that the page number in 16/17, whats in the rest of that sale flyer?

    • I don't think inFAMOUS will be very desireable for hoarders, since you can only flip it to EB for $40 right now, and the TIV certainly won't go up. Their only bet is to buy it and sell it on kijiji/craigslist, and even then, they MIGHT make $15 or so, not including the time and effort to get the game in the first place.

      I doubt price protection would work in this case. Wouldn't hurt to try though, for the ones who already bought it.

      I would really want to get the game first as I think it would easily be sold out during the sale. I don't see why the PP wouldn't work because it worked for those extremely limit timed F&F sales or weekend sales. This looks like the same case to me.
