Bell Student Cell Phone Plans from $25/mth

Bell is up next with their own set of three student cell phone plans priced at $25, $35, and $45 per month plus taxes and fees. Here's are the details on the $25 and $45 dollar plans:

Fab 10 Student 25 - $25 + $8.95 system access fee + $0.75 911 service charge

100 local anytime minutes
Unlimited local night and weekends from 9PM - 7AM
Unlimited local calling and texting with 10 numbers
Call Waiting, Conference Calling

Fab 10 Student 45 - $45 + $8.95 system access fee + $0.75 911 service charge

450 local anytime minutes
Unlimited local night and weekends from 6PM - 8AM
Unlimited local and long distance calling and texting with 10 numbers
500 sent and unlimited received picture and video messages
Call Display, Message Centre Express, Call Waiting, Conference Calling

The $35 plan has everything included in the $25 plan and adds 150 extra local voice minutes, 500 sent and unlimited picture and video messages, and includes long distance to your Fav 10. All these plans are for new activations with a student card on 3-year terms. Their standard $35 one-time connection charge is on top of the rates above.

- The Rogers Student Plans don't have Unlimited Network Calling. They seem more like upgraded My5 plans. The Bell one seems to be the best, but it's CDMA =[

  If they're a Rogers, Fido, or Rogers Home Phone customers, yes it's unlimited incoming from them as long as you're in your home calling area.

  If you're on a 3 year commitment I think you can. Might have to sign for 3 years starting from today. Definitely will have to for the bonus offers.

  Well, I only have a year and a bit left on my current contract, I'd still change if I could, bonuses dont affect me too much. When are these plans available?

- in order to qualify being aged 14-18 makes no sense...
  
  to even get a plan they do a credit check, and REQUIRE you to be 18+...
  
  previous years, student plans are for uni students only.. and bell asks for student ID number usually. asked me for my uni as well.

  apparently the plans are always around.. this is the I guess fall 2008 edition and you can get it now.

  I have the student plan with Bell. It also includes unlimited incoming text messages and 100 outgoing text, 20 picture and 5 video messages. It includes voicemail, call waiting etc. Not sure what brucebeh meant by saying that will be different come Friday. Better or worse?
