June is almost here, and with that comes perfect cycling weather! June is traditionally Bike Month across the country and a number of major cities are taking part. Here's a roundup of free events to look forward to:

• Vancouver: Bike To Work Week runs May 28-June 1. Each day, there will be "Commuter Stations" set up around the city where you can take advantage of free refreshments, bike mechanic services and chances to win prizes. By registering for Bike To Work Week and logging your trips, you also get entered to win daily prizes.
• Edmonton: Throughout the month, there are lots of events taking place. On Fridays at 7AM, there will be breakfasts at various restaurants around the city. • Toronto: Bike Month kicks off on May 28 with the Group Commute and Pancake Breakfast. Groups of commuters will be meeting at a series of city and community start points, then converging at Yonge and Bloor for a ride down to City Hall. There are dozens of events running through the month, including group rides, free pancake breakfasts, used bike sales, free bike repairs and more. • Montreal: Montreal Bike Fest runs from May 27-June 3. From 7AM-6PM, there will be bike tune ups, used bike collection stations, and more at Parc La Fontaine.
• Halifax: Bike Week runs through June 3, with events organized by local organizations and stores. Mountain Equipment Co-op is hosting Bike To School Day on May 30, and from 7-9AM, they will be providing a free pancake breakfast at the MEC on Granville Street and on Macdonald Bridge. Moksha Yoga Halifax is also hosting a free yoga class for cyclists on June 1.

The sale we've been waiting for has finally started! With Target stores coming to Canada in less than a year, select Zellers stores started their liquidation sales this week.

To see a list of all liquidation stores, visit the liquidation website. No details on specific sales have been announced, as it seems to vary store by store.

Liquidation stores have a few new store policies in effect, so be sure to read through the updated policies before heading in to shop. Keep in mind that:

• Liquidation stores do not participate in the Zellers flyer deals, or HBC credit and HBC rewards offers
• All sales at liquidation stores are final. No returns, exchanges or price adjustments.
• Vendor coupons are accepted at liquidation stores, but Zellers/Facebook coupons will not be accepted
• Seniors' Day discounts will not be offered at liquidation stores

If you like golf and golf games, you'll be pleased to learn that EA Sports has launched Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online, which is a browser based PC game. It has some free-to-play content that should keep you entertained for a while, as well as additional content that you can pay for. You pay for points, which can be put towards items like clubs, balls, and attire. To access all courses, there is a $9.99 monthly or $59.99 yearly subscription fee. Reportedly, the game runs very well.

At the very least, the free portion is worth checking out. You do need to create an account and to install a bit of software, but free is free! The game runs on PC and Macs.

In a continuing effort to "lower the upfront costs of selling on eBay", eBay is rolling out an interesting promotion that begins on June 16 -- 5 free Insertion Fees every 30 days for Auction Style Listings.
