It's that time again! Extreme Pita is celebrating National Pita Day on June 2. All day long, participating locations will be offering pitas for half price.

Originally posted April 17: With summer on its way, Tim Hortons just launched a new frozen lemonade drink for those warm, sunny days that are coming up! To celebrate the launch, you can get a small frozen lemonade for $1 for a limited time.

The drink is available in original and raspberry flavours, and is made with real lemon. Forum users are reporting that the drink is very sugary, but if you have a sweet tooth, this might be the drink for you!

With the weather warming up, Tim Hotons has introduced a new promotion that might have you visiting a little more often. Starting now, you can enjoy three different Cold Stone Blast flavours for $2.00 each plus tax. The flavours include:

• OREO Indulgence - Sweet Cream Ice Cream blended with OREO cookies and fudge sauce
• Peanut Butter Chocolate - Chocolate Ice Cream blended with peanut butter cup pieces and fudge sauce

The coupons are valid today through June 3, 2012, and are available nationwide.

Wendy's is on a mission to make poutine the national food of Canada! This morning, they launched their "Poutition" and are encouraging their Facebook fans to sign it by offering a coupon for a free poutine upgrade to all participants.

To get your coupon, head over to the Poutition tab on their Facebook page (you will need to "like" the page in order to see the content) and click "Sign the Petition". Heads up: you'll need to grant an application access to your basic account information in order to participate.

The coupon entitles you to a free poutine upgrade when you buy a combo. There's a limit of one coupon per person, per visit, and it can't be combined with other promotions/discounts. The coupon expires July 31, 2012.

All summer long, any size soft drink and small/medium size ice coffee will be $1 (plus tax, of course). In past years, this promotion has run from April through until the beginning of September.

Starbucks started expanding their "Pick of the Week" program in the US a few months ago, and their Canadian locations are following suit. Starting this week, the Pick of the Week cards (which have previously offered free music downloads from the iTunes music store) will feature free iPhone app downloads as well!
