THIS CONTEST IS OPEN TO CANADIAN RESIDENTS ONLY



These rules govern the Contest. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY to enter the Contest. The act of entering the Contest constitutes acceptance of the Contest Rules. 1. CONTEST PERIOD: Contest begins on NOVEMBER 2, 2012 at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) and ends on JANUARY 4, 2013 at 11:59:59 p.m. (ET) (the "Contest Period"). 2. ELIGIBILITY: Contest is open to all legal residents of Canada (excluding residents of Québec) who have reached the age of majority in their province/territory of residence at the time of entry, except employees, representatives or agents (and those with whom such persons are domiciled) of Yellow Pages Group Co. by its division RedFlagDeals.com (the "Sponsor"), its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, prize suppliers, advertising/promotion agencies and the Contest judges (collectively, the "Contest Parties"). 3. HOW TO REGISTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To register, go to http://www.redflagdeals.com/go/annual-survey-2012/ (the “Website”) and click on the “Enter Now” button and a survey will appear. Fully complete the survey and : (i) enter your full name, valid email address and date of birth ; (ii) and accept the terms and condition of these Official Rules and Regulations (the “"Rules”). Once you have fully completed the survey, click the “Submit” button to complete your registration (the “Registration”). To be eligible, your Registration must be received during the Contest Period. There is a limit of one (1) Registration per person/email address permitted during the Contest Period and you can only use one (1) email address to register for the Contest. If it is discovered that you attempted to: (i) register more than one (1) time during the Contest Period; and/or (ii) use more than one (1) email address to register for the Contest; then (in the sole discretion of the Sponsor) you may be disqualified from the Contest and all of your entries may be voided. Your Registration will be rejected if the registration form is not fully completed and submitted during the Contest Period. Use of any automated system to register for, or otherwise participate in, this Contest is prohibited and will automatically result in disqualification. The Sponsor reserves the right to make any enquiry about an account if in its own discretion it has reasons to believe that the participant is perpetrating a fraud or any attempt of cheating. The Sponsor reserves the right to install any additional security system as it believes may be required to maintain the fairness of the Contest during the Contest Period. The Contest Parties are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, delayed, incomplete or incompatible Registrations. You will receive one (1) entry in the grand prize draw (as outlined below in Rule 7) upon successfully registering for the Contest in accordance with these Rules. Maximum Number of Entries: The maximum possible number of entries that an eligible entrant can have in this Contest is 1 entry. This is only possible if the eligible entrant: (i) registers for the Contest in accordance with Rule 3 (1 entry). In no event will any entrant in this Contest be able to obtain more than 1 entry. If it is discovered that you have attempted to obtain more than the stated maximum number of entries, then (in the sole discretion of the Sponsor) you may be disqualified from the Contest and/or all of your entries may be voided. 5. THE PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES: GRAND PRIZE: There will be five (5) grand prizes to be won consisting of five (5) Amazon Kindle e-readers (retail value $100 each) 6. GRAND PRIZE DRAW AND WINNER SELECTION: On JANUARY 7, 2013 (the “Draw Date”) in TORONTO, ONTARIO at approximately 4:00 p.m. ET, five (5) eligible entrants for the Grand Prize will be selected by random draw from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The Sponsor or its designated representative will make three (3) attempts to contact the Grand Prize selected entrant by email (using the information provided at the time of entry) within ten (10) business days of the Draw Date. If the Grand Prize selected entrant cannot be contacted within three (3) attempts or ten (10) business days of the Draw Date (whichever occurs first), or there is a return of any notification as undeliverable; then the Grand Prize selected entrant (and/or the corresponding eligible Secondary Prize winner, if applicable) will be disqualified and the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to randomly select an alternate eligible entrant from among the remaining eligible entries. 7. BEFORE BEING DECLARED A WINNER The Grand Prize selected entrant will be required to: (a) correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical or other aid; and (b) sign and return within ten (10) business days of notification the Sponsor’s declaration and release form, which (among other things): (i) confirms compliance with these Rules; (ii) acknowledges acceptance of the Prize as awarded; (iii) releases the Contest Parties and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the "Releasee") from any and all liability in connection with this Contest, the his/her participation therein and/or the awarding and use/misuse of the Prize or any portion thereof; and (iv) agrees to the publication, reproduction and/or other use of his/her name, address, voice, statements about the Contest and/or photograph or other likeness without further notice or compensation, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by the Sponsor in any manner whatsoever, including print, broadcast or the internet. If the Grand Prize selected entrant: (a) fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question; and/or (b) fails to return the properly executed Contest documents within the specified time, then he/she will forfeit the Prize and Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to randomly select an alternate eligible entrant from among the remaining eligible entries. 8. GENERAL CONDITIONS: All Registrations/entries become the property of the Sponsor. The Releasees assume no responsibility for lost, delayed, incomplete, incompatible or misdirected Registrations/entries. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. The decisions of the Sponsor with respect to all aspects of this Contest are final and binding on all entrants without right of appeal, including, without limitation, any decisions regarding the eligibility/disqualification of Registrations, entries and/or entrants. The Releasees will not be liable for any failure of the Website during the Contest; for any technical malfunction or other problems relating to the telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment or software; for the failure of any entry to be received by the Contest Parties for any reason including, but not limited to, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website; or any combination of the above. Further, the Releasees will not be liable for any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading any material in the Contest. All Registrations/entries are subject to verification. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility (in a form acceptable to the Sponsor) to participate in this Contest. Failure to provide such proof in a timely manner may result in disqualification. The sole determinant of the time for the purposes of a valid Registration/entry in this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s). By entering this Contest, entrants consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes of administering the Contest. By accepting a prize, winners consent to the collection, use and disclosure to the public of their names, addresses (city, province/territory), voices, statements and photographs or other likenesses for publicity purposes in connection with the Contest in any media or formats including, but not limited to, the Internet, without further notice, permission or compensation. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. The Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw or amend this Contest (or to amend these Rules) in any way, in the event of an error, technical problem, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor that interferes with the proper conduct of this Contest as contemplated by these Rules. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Sponsor the right to cancel or suspend this Contest, or to amend these Rules without prior notice or obligation, in the event of any accident, printing, administrative, or other error of any kind. By entering this Contest, each entrant expressly consents to the Sponsor, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with his/her Entry only for the purpose of administering the Contest and in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy (available at http://www.ypg.com/en/privacy-statement) , unless the entrant otherwise agrees. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and is void where prohibited. Contest Sponsor agrees to abide by any corporate policy with respect to awarding of prizes to employees by suppliers. 9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY All intellectual property, including, without limitation, all trade-marks, trade names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source code, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations are owned by the Sponsor and/or its affiliates. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited. 10. LANGUAGE DISCREPANCY In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest-related materials, including, but not limited to: the Contest entry form, and/or point of sale, television, print or online advertising; the terms and conditions of these Rules shall prevail, govern and control. 11. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY Without limiting the release provided in Rule 6 above, and for greater certainty, Releasees will not be liable for: a) any incomplete or inaccurate information, whether caused by Contest Website users or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries; b) the theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries or the Contest Website; c) any problems with, or technical malfunctions of, telephone networks or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, viruses or bugs; d) any failure of any e-mail to be received by or from Sponsor for any reason including but not limited to traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof; or e) damage to a participant’s or other person’s system occasioned by participation or downloading of materials in this Contest.
