Default Yes, it's that time of year again...

I'm sure a lot of you feel like summer has barely started, but it's time to start thinking about going back to school, especially if you are a university or college student.

This is the forum to discuss things like tuition, student loans, Frosh Week, residence, courses you're taking, textbooks, and other back to school topics!

Stay tuned for a back to school contest early tomorrow!

Two pieces of advice for new university students.

1. University/college is only what you put into it. Its not just an educational investment. Work hard, study hard, play hard and most importantly participate in everything you can. High school is done so leave that mentality behind. Get off your ass and into things otherwise you will go through the 4 years as if nothing happened to you.

2. If you are enrolled in UTSC, go right to the registrar and get the information on how to transfer to St. George and transfer. The commute is worth it. UTSC is about as good as a crappy high school

I go to the University of Waterloo and I'm in school right now. I have a final tomorrow!

I can't wait for the end of August to start my co-op term. I highly recommend co-op programs to all prospective students. You will be able to pay for your own tuition without picking up too much OSAP debt.

Also, live on residence for at least a term just for the experience. Get involved, study, and have fun. It's great.

Haha... well since you're gonna be an AFMer at UW, I'll tell you that you can get a lint roller at the BDO Dunwoody information session in the Tatham Centre sometime in September.

Because all the major stores are ran by old bitter businessmen who have hit their mid-life crisis and they realize that they have the power to make younger people feel just as miserable as they do.
