XBOX360: Condemned Preview on IGN

So............. it looks like they are STILL emphasizing FPS? Is anything out about anything else.... =/

I mean, yes, it is the selling point, but I keep reading that this time around, it'll be more well rounded, it sure doesn't seem that way so far.

Not just any FPS, a scary pipe whacking game. Cuz a pipe is way cooler than a crowbar.

Nevermind. I watched the videos. Definately a FPS, just a bit slower paced.

You get to be a serial killer...uh...ok...

They trying to create killers here? I mean, killing and violent crimes stem from bad backgrounds. At least in GTA you are stealing a car or in other FPS you are killing aliens/soldiers. This is too much though.

Now back on topic...another FPS? They are all better with a keyboard and mouse...bah.

The Xbox360 I really hope has a browser.
I mean come on, how hard is it to port IE to that thing? I'd rather use it than firing up my laptop or MCE.
Too bad that logo isn't a trackball like I hoped.
Not too thrilled with anything revealed so far. FPS, FPS, driving, 3rd Person shooting and even more FPS/arena combat style games. And DOA4 (which looks like a supercharged Xbox 1 game). I wanna see strands of hair being animated at this point.
Pretty meh so far.

Cool lighting but VERY UNIMPRESSIVE considering the hardware it's on. Looks lame as well. Games I'm looking forward to on XBOX360... not holding my breath though...

This game does look like it could make some people more violent. Maybe that is their intention?

Here we are in '07 and I finally got around to downloading the demo. The game is a riot. It is pretty scary playing it in the dark. What sucks is Walmart and EB games are still selling it at almost regular price.

lol, 2 years later ...

People were selling this for around $30 in BST and you could probably get them around this price on Ebay.

Man, I thought there was a new version coming out.

If you noticed, a lot of the feedback from people were of their initial impressions of the game, pre-release. You can't really judge a game based on someone else's review. It would be nice if the same people came back and revised their opinion. I think it's damn good for a launch title. Graphics are not dated at all, imo.

Oh, I also bought the system just this past November.

I've beaten this game.

It's okay. I agree that it is one of the better titles though on the 360 at launch... there were close to no good ones at launch.

Oh cool, my old thread was bumped. Yeah this game was really fun! I like gory first-person whacking games.
