Default Will my Tropicana orange juice explode???

OK, here is the deal...

The Co-op store is having a discount on Tropicana orange juice, so I bought two of them. I was thinking, to better preserve the quality, is better to freeze it until the first one is finish!!

my question is, will it explode when i freeze it? I know carbonated drink will, i guess orange juice shouldn't right? I don't want to be wrong on this you know, my mom will kill me~~

Nah, it shouldnt. I had Fruitopia in the freezer for a few months. Though after thawing it, it tasted flat, very flat.

DId you know you can more vitamins out of concentrated juice than the ones in the carton? They retain the vitamins much better in frozen form.

Dominions has Tropicana 1.89litres for $2.49 this week. Bryer's Classic for $1.99.

Interesting! but is it because they add more vit to concentrated ones, or is it the frozening process that help retain the vit??

but than, concentrated juice has a lot more sugar and "unknown" factor put into it~~ pros and cons!

hahahah im still laughing at the emo orange!

carbonated drinks will explode? like, if you were to put it in a container that could stretch they still would? i.e., if you put water in a glass bottle and freeze it, bang. But if you put it in plastic, no problem. Not the case for pop?

what about open, like in a glass?

OJ does freeze, but doesn't explode. We left one outside by accident and then brough it in and let it thaw at room temp and it was fine.

Default keeps in fridge for about 2 mo usually...

If your Tropicana is unopened as you leave the airtight seal alone..it should last until the expration date in your fridge.

I bought some tropicana today and it expires sometime in Jan

Bought last week and expires Jan 23!

so, you could just keep one or two unopened ones in your fridge.

don't worry about putting it in the freezer it's fine. my parents does it all the time but the only thing i hate about it, when it thaws it doesn't have the same taste as a carton that hasn't been frozen would taste like. i'd rather not freeze it cause it tastes much better.
