Does anyone know if the Wii can play the gamecube games or do you need to buy Wii games? I ask the because I am trying to drside if I should get one from my children. When I got the a PS2 a few years ago they could use the old PS1 games so I didn't have to buy so many new ones.
Thanks & Happy Holidays |

Yes, you can play GameCube games on the Wii. You may also want to get a GameCube memory card since Wii cannot save GameCube games in its internal memory (GC memory card can be plugged into the Wii, and used exclusively to save/load GC games), as well as GameCube controllers which can also be plugged into the Wii.
