Default where to take beginner french course in GTA?

theres a lot of colleges, universities that offer them, anyone have any experience with any of them? iam looking for more then 1 class a week, because thats just not enough for me...

there is a place, i truly cant think if the name of it right now but i have it at work, i'll try to post it.
i called and the girl was kinda rude and it turned me off,(i had just missed the starting date) but the person who recommended it to me taught french and said it was the best one.
i'll look and post, if i forget and your stumped pm me

it would be nice if you can find it.... iam leanning towards Cenntenial college right now, because they have 8 weeks courses for 1 level, so in one regular semester i can finnish 2 levels. cost is decent too around $250ea

If you are actually dedicated to learning french, in terms of cost and time, nothing beats buying a textbook (not your chapters variety Learn French in 30 Days book), and spending 1 hour a night with it (less or more, it's up to how fast you want to learn). People are fooled into thinking you actually have to go to school to learn languages, it's not true, it just forces you to do some work. If you want to do the work, a class isnt necessary. I learned intermediate German and the last bit of beginner French (level 2 or so in comparison to what you're talking about) by myself.

As for the correct books... for French, the most popular ones are Motif's pack and Themes Pack.... both are good, i suggest Motif more tho. They each run between 100-150 for the complete pack, but you can use Amazon.ca to find used from retail stores (that are guaranteed then and free shipping) for about 50-70 bucks.
