It's been bugging me for the last few days...the lyric goes something like this: "Whiteeeeeeee horssses...come take meee awayyyyy...".
Last time I heard it, it was sung by a woman, but I have a feeling it's a cover cuz I've heard a few different variation of the same song. Much appreciated. |

White horses or white houses?
I know one sung by Vanessa Carlton.

I believe it's "Wild Horses"
I think Belinda Carlisle (former The Go Go's memeber) sang it (or re-did it if it is indeed an original Rolling Stones song). Edit: Google proves me incorrect. The song actually appeared on the film "Fear" with Mark Wahlberg, Reese Witherspoon and a young "Grissom" as Reese's dad (CSI guy, William Petersen). And a hot looking Alyssa Milano was also in the movie. The song was sung by a group called "The Sundays." That could be the one you heard.

The song I know with those lyrics has the chorus go:
Wild horses could not drag me away from you.The song is by Gino Vanelli, and is titled "Wild Horses." The Rolling Stones song with the same title is not the same, and I think Natash Bedingfeild does a cover (and maybe Alisha Keys has a song with the same title). |

Thanks for the help, guys.
The mystery's been solved! It's The Sundays' rendition of Wild Horses by the Stones I heard. Sorry for mucking up the lyric, I heard it at a bar and you know how it is. I just happened to have the Buffy soundtrack and lord and behold the song is in it. I also have the Natasha Beddingfield album. I liked The Sundays' version better, I can understsand why the WB shows would use it so many times. The lyric of the version sung by The Sundays was actually: "Wild Horsessss....Couldn't drag me awayyyy..." Close enough, but no cigar.
