Default What was your first night of Residence like?

School is shortly coming up and I'm wanting to hear some stories from some people as how there first night on residence was like? Fun? Boring? Did you get homesick?

hahaha oh man. At UVic, the first night of residence is a gong show. I vaguely remember walking around one of the newest buildings absolutely smashed, and hearing from a random group of people "party in RavenHILL!" (my building). So me and a couple high school buds headed over there, and sure enough... some one had like 40 people packed into a room with black lights and a strobe, playing some weird music. That's all that I remember, but just don't forget to get beer rrrreally early in the day since finding some one to boot for you at 10pm isn't gonna happen. I'm almost 21 now, but that's my advice since ive seen kids go beer less on first night.

hahah man first night, we had a quad party where obviously half the people were smashed, had a live concert etc, was fun

the WORST part was the F*** a$$es (the residence commitee / union / whatever its called) woke everyone up at 4 a.m. (even though we went to sleep at 3) with sirens and banging on your door and forced everyone outside for a run around campus bootcamp style with nothing but our underwear on (we thought it was a fire - some people were smart enough to grab some pants on their way out)

i was about to shoot someone for that lol but all in all lots of fun
