What to look for in a USED LCD / Data projector

I'm looking at used data projectors because i'll probably only need it for a yr. I don't want to invest $700 into a projector cuz it's only going to be used in classroom like settings with 30 or so people in the room for an 1-2hrs /day

so aside from bulb life, is there any other negatives about used projectors on kijiji or craigslist?
