Just wondering what people use and if anyone has good suggestions. I've tried things by LUSH and FREEMAN.

For Shampoo, I use what ever is on sale. But I prefer the Australian brand (kiwi flavor).
For soap, well, I guess its what ever my mom had bought 4 months ago on sale at Costco. I have about 25-30 bars of soap waiting for me. For Hairgel, I like the Ice spiker or the colored kind. For Deoderant, i like Old Spice sport anti-perisprint/deoderant or any of the Gilliet (or other brands) gel stuff. For Cologne, I'm right now using a scent from Banana Republic, L'eau D'Iseey (by Issey Miake), and another kind, which I'll have to check. But I want to get the new Polo Ralph Lauren BLUE. Smells nice. I'll admit I'm a cologne *****. Not as much now as I was when I was younger, but still one none-the-less. |

Shampoo Pantene all the way. Acceptable substitute is Thermasilk, because of their damn cool commercials.
Soap I'm partial to Dove body wash, and for the face, I use some Neutrogena stuff that's non hypo-allergenic, dermatologist approved, and non-comdogenic. Perfume I got Eau D'Issey as my primary "light" scent. I bought it originally b/c of the bottle. Italian perfume Mariella Burani as a secondary "evening" scent, (PITA to find in N. America) and my Tertiary is just an orange/melon fruity smell from Fruits & Passion. Strangely enough, I wear these fairly infrequently. Hair Fixative Products A hair elastic is all I use on a regular basis Cream for hands, Herbacin. Best stuff eva. Just don't go holding a glass any time soon after applying. Face, I use some L'Oreal stuff. Makeup MAC! Love their products, and it's relatively affordable. Makeup brushes cost a mint though, but are quite essential to good application. I got really girl somewhere in the last five years and actually wear make up more frequently now and have a tiny array of eyeshadow pots and other various maquillage. Never thought that'd be me. Go figure. Nails I really like OPI, and Nicole, (higher quality, but still from OPI). Tutti Frutti Tonga is the best colour ever... if only I could find it again. Ebay is great, but I refuse to pay that much for a bottle of Nail Polish. VoilĂ , now you all know the inner workings of my toilette! Jen

Recent "deals" haven't been great either. I remember those days when I would run around to Futureshop for a round or two a day to pick up two or more items. |
